Unstable, angry man = BOOM

" Michael Peterson. Factory worker, married, one kid. He gets injured, gets laid off, wife jumps ship. Good guy, bad breaks. Best guess is somebody tells him they can make him stronger again, make him super, " Coulson explains as his whole team excluding Ward- who was knocked out- and at us, Skye and I. There were two women, one kind and British, Jemma Simmons and the other I think Chinese and very intimidating looking, her name was Melinda May. There was another guy too, he was much kinder than Ward and awkward as well, his name was Leo Fitz.

" Who has the tech to do that? " May asks, her arms folded across her chest, " and why would they want to? "

" Fitz, what do we have from the security footage before the blast? " Coulson asks the Scottish man.

" What are we seeing? " May asks as Fitz does what Coulson told him to do. It seemed really blurry and there was this guy who seemed literally red and orange and was definitely angry, like I'm-gonna-kill- you angry. Maybe it wasn't a literal bomb that destroyed the place, maybe it wasn't an it, but a who.

" Well, obviously that guy is angry at the other guy, " I said in a duh voice, occupying my hands by shuffling my cards. It seems that the only thing to keep my hands working is by shuffling the same deck of cards over and over and over again, but I never grow tired of doing it.

I looked up when I was met by silence, finding everyone staring at me, but luckily, Simmons stepped in to defend my obvious claim.

" The data is very corrupt."

" Yeah, like cold war Russia corrupt. " Fitz stepped in. " I-I can't sync the timecode without- "

" What if you had the audio? " Sky asked, " I was...running surveillance on the lab. I had my shotgun mic pointed at the window before the blast. The digital file is in my van, there's too much background noise for me but you could probably-"

" You can clean that up, can't you? " Simmons asked Fitz. " Find a sync point and use cross-field validation to find- "

" But I can't scrub for expression patterns when the vit-c is all-"

" Well, is there a chrominance subcarrier? "

" Yeah, attached to the back porch. Brilliant. " I literally didn't understand anything that was just said in the past minute or two, only proving the fact that I do not belong in the smart department, but in the magician-cleverness or prankster-magic queen department.

" Um, that audio will be great. Thank you very, very much. "

" We will take that audio, please. " Both Fitz and Simmons said at the same time and since I didn't understand the conversation, or well, didn't even bother understanding the conversation because it doesn't involve my set of skills, I tuned them out by focusing on my deck of cars, slamming them onto the glass table and spreading down out, face down, thinking of a card, the shuffling the cards back together before picking out the very first one, not surprised to find my card seeing as this trick was one of the very first I had learned.

Next thing I know, Sky and Agent May were out of the room, me going to follow but was asked to stay behind for my own safety or something like that since I was still a minor, which had nothing to do with the situation if you ask me.

Fitz was running around the docking bay, getting everything down whilst talking with Sky over the phone? I don't know, while Coulson and Simmons were analyzing the sample that she had brought in earlier, Simmons looking excited, Coulson... not so much.

" So where did that get us? " Ward suddenly walked in, looking towards Coulson but not before glaring at me, making me smirk and wiggle my fingers at him before going back to my cards, folding the edges slightly whilst arching the back of my hand and throwing it. The card went sailing but it dropped fast, making me groan a little in frustration but also have hope seeing as that was better than the last time I had practiced card throwing- it's a hard profession and I just started it like... 9 hours ago.

" Sky' sending us the rest of decrypted files on Centipede, but we have her audio. I've loaded it up, " Fitz explained, still rushing about.

" Nice work, " Coulson complemented.

" Now, using motion estimation, baysesian inference, a beam splitter and a little diffraction theory... our mystery man appears. " I leaned forward from my seat on the ground by the seats attached to the metal wall, interested as a holographic image or video of the setting before the explosion went off. Man, the tricks I could do if I could figure out how to work this thing...

" It's like magic- " I immediately stood up when he said that, feeling very offended.

" I take offense to what you just said- that is not magic, it's science, very complicated, weird science, " I said, pointing to the holographic video, scoffing when Ward rolled his eyes at me.

" Explosives in the case? " Ward asked, but he was just about to get answered.

" Please calm down. Just let me check you vitals, " the doctor tried to reason with the man but he wasn't having it.

" I feel fine. I want to feel more. Where's the doctor, where is she?! " The man yelled.

" I-if you don't settle down, I'll have you sedated! " the doctor tried to sound brave in his oh so scary threat.

" Where is she?! " the man yelled again, but this time, he grabbed the nearest chair and lifted it above his head before striking it towards the doctor, who tried to cover himself by raising his arms above his head.

" Wait, did you see that? That thing on his arm? " Fitz had paused the video and re-winded it to the point to which the man had lifted his arms up, holding the chair above his head.Looking towards the man, I moved closer, observing before something caught my eye.

" Well look at that, " there, right on the man's arm was a device of some sort, it was yellow and had metal parts, but most of all, it looked like a centipede. "They named their company after their product. "

" It's an intravenous filter for his blood, " Simmons said, walking closer to the paused holographic video, " This goo, sir-very familiar to the serum Dr. Erskine developed in the '40s for the..."

" Super Soldier serum, " I cut her off, my hands finding their way back to the cards and began shuffling them at a fast pace.

" I'm reading alien metal, gamma radiation, the serum- every known source of superpower thrown in a blender, " Simmons explained.

" We need to see the origin of the blast. Run it back from the last point recorded, " Coulson ordered Fitz, who then began pressing buttons and doing stuff that un-paused the video, a fiery red ball of metal and other things appearing, then going smaller and smaller as Fitz re-winded it to the point where the point of the origin was the angry man himself, cracks of red fire appearing on his skin as if he was about to blow up- and he did blow up, he caused the explosion that happened in the lab, which means that he was unstable and then he was angry, very, very angry, and that caused the BOOM.

While I was thinking, I missed everything to the point of Coulson commenting to Ward about him wanting a bomb. Weird.
