Chapter Two

Pamela wandered around the party room eating anything she comes across. She finally stopped in front of a tray with wine in it. She almost dropped the glass of wine when strong arms encircled her waist and a husky voice whispered into her ear." Hello darling,wanna dance?" She turned to see brown emerald eyes staring right back at her.

She gasped,not because of the eyes,but because of the person they belong to."Oh my God,you....you are Dave Philips"she stammered. Then she seemed to come back into her senses. "Of course I would dance with you" she said,offering him her hand and batting her eyelashes at him.

"Today was the best day ever'" Pamela said as Cody sped through the streets towards her house. He noticed she seemed to be in a conversational mood so casually asked "And why is that?"

"I've got a new boyfriend. I mean,as for this one,I really really like him. I've had a crush on him like forever." She continued rambling about her new boyfriend as they pulled into her driveway.

"Yeah,we are sure you will soon get married" Cody said with a hint of sarcasm but she was so happy she did not notice.
"Yes,oh,it would be so amazing" she said with a dreamy look on her face. She practically skipped into the house.

Oh God, this girl has lost it. How can you practically meet someone today,start a relationship on that day and expect to get married. Hello,we are not in the 80's. Cody thought wryly.

Five minutes after she went inside,he heard her screaming into her phone,and he could only guess it to be one person, Sheila. Even though Pamela looks tough and rude and always happy,Cody seems to be the only one who knows her other side.

"Sheila, guess who my boyfriend is?" Pamela said. "Uhh,I can't really guess because almost all the teen movie stars are your potential boyfriend" Sheila said.
"Okay,it is DAVE PHILIPS!!!" Pamela squealed. "Get out" Sheila also squealed from the other side."How did that happen?" And Pamela launched into the story from how they met at the party to him asking her to be his girlfriend. They both squealed together at the end of the story like little girls.

"You seem very excited by this one."Sheila observed. "Yes,I am. I think I am going to try my best for this relationship to work."

That evening, as she got ready to sleep,she couldn't stop smiling to herself. When she started dozing,her phone beeped and she looked on it only to see a message from Dave. "Goodnight pretty lady". She replied immediately,"night Dave". And drifted off into sleep with a smile on her face only to face her nightmares again.
