Swimming in the ocean
Yet it is so funny
Because I don't know how to swim
So now I sink
I'm drinking the salty water
It burns in my chest
And I find monsters,
Ruins of houses and statues
And they all
Look so real
But then I encounter bones
And skulls too
There was an island, centuries ago
But now it's eaten by the ocean blues
It's ironic but iconic too
Because we're so alike
An island and a girl
They sunk
They used to be heroes
But they died down
They've broken by
The sea, the people
Suppressing us down
They brought us down.
