I watched
As the tide carried the girl away from me
Bringing all the rainbows and happiness
Leaving me nothing but melancholy
Three years later
I'm here
The girl was destroyed by the waves
Leaving things as I come back to the beach
I pick up the leftover memories
That were washed up near the shore
Unforgiveness engulfs me
As I look at the bad things that were done by the girl
I thought she wasn't guilty
I thought she never did anything wrong
I thought she was just being nice
When she lied and she cried
I swim to the sea
Trying to find the girl
Trying to fix her past
To save her future
But I know she's gone
And I know I will too
When I realize I'm drowning
Because I cannot swim.
