Part 4: Feelings

Opals pov
I open my eyes and look around. My head is on jakes shoulder. We both fell asleep on the couch. I look at him. His arm is wrapped around me. I feel cozy and warm.
Jake wakes up and looks at me. He laughs lightly and smiles. I smile back at him. His smile fades and he just looks me in the eyes. Somehow our lips touch. It feels like this one kiss lasts forever.
Jake looks at me and says "Opal this might not be the right place or time to tell you this but uhm I really like you."
My face turns bright red. I kiss him again without saying a word.
"I'm hungry do you want to go out and eat?" I ask Jake.
"Sure. What do you want?"
"How about we go to the diner down the street."
"Ok. I could go for some eggs anyway so."
We walk out the door and I walk to the car while Jake locks the house door. I get in the car and so does Jake.
AT THE DINER----------------------------------------
We walk into the diner and a lady with long brown hair sits us at a table near the door. We both grab our menus and look through the section labeled breakfast.
I hear the bell above the door ring and look over at the door. I see Walter walk in with another girl from our school. I don't know her name but I have seen her walking around in the hall.
Jake looks up at me and then looks at the door. He hides his head in his menu but Walter still sees us. He walks up to the table and pushes jakes menu away from his face. I stare at him confused.
------------------------------------------------------------- I know I know your probably thinking wow that was fast but I wanted to get strait to the action so I did ik it sounds kinda strange but that's ok bc I'm a strange person. This is also a short chapter I tried to get it out quick since I haven't been updating that much so yeah. There has been some drama within the past few weeks of my life so I didn't get to finishing this chapter. But now it's out so be thankful XD
