ELLY

As much as I wanted to talk,rather ask him why he just ignore anybody else but no words came out from my mouth.

I grab my bag and guitar and made my way near the Pine Tree and away from him.

Malawak din and field na Ito. It was in an oval shape and there's a bleacher on both side for people who wants to watch.

On my side—this side,is an open space. Dito pwede namang umupo sa damuhan. It's really clean actually. Pwede ka pa ngang humiga eh.

The wind blows and I felt the air creeps into every pores of my skin.

Tag-ulan nga pala ngayon but I don't mind the weather cause the sun shines so bright and so calmly and there's no hint to rain to be falling.

Sumandal ako sa puno saka ipinatong ang gitara ko sa lap ko and I made myself laid my back comfortably,my legs straightened on the ground as I close my eyes and start strumming.

It took one look
And forever lay out in front of me
One smile then I die
Only to be revived by you

I slowly open my eyes and saw a man who's eating a munchkin beside me. I strum the guitar again and he sing along with me.

There I was
Thought I had everything figured out
It goes to show just how much I know
About the way life plays out

We smiled to each other. I stop for awhile when he complimented me.

"Ang ganda ng boses mo ah," saad niya

"Salamat"

"Ituloy mo. Gusto ko kasi Yang kantang iyan. Your SOng by Parokya ni Edgar."

"Okay. It is one of my fav song,too."

I place my fingers on strings and we happily sing this song together.

I take one step away
And I find myself coming back to you
My one and only
One and only you

"WOW! Just wow! Your voice is unique. I can recommend you to my friend." He said,as he took a bit on his food

"Really? Whoah! Thanks." I said in amusement, "Elly nga po pala" I smiled as I extended my hand on him.

He was about to take it when someone grab his other hand causing his munchkin to fell on the ground

"Yung munchkin ko!" I can't believe it. He's so manly yet he acts like a child just because he lost his food?

"Stand or I'm gonna kick your ass?" Napatingin ako doon sa nagsalita.

Ahhh..okay. I didn't know that they're friends. And I frankly say that nakakatakot siya.

"Okay! Heto na. Tatayo na oh?" He made himself up on the ground saka pinagpag iyong pang-upo niya.

He was about to extend his hand on me and I am willingly to meet it nang hilain na naman siya nitong napakasungit na tao.

"Gino nga pala. Bye! Nice meeting you!" He said when again,he was pulled by a force by that man.

I waved at him to say goodbye.

"Sungit naman nun" I mumbled to myself.

I was about to continue playing with my buddy when I heard a thunder.

I look up at the sky and I just cursed to myself.

Unti-unti nang dumidilim kaya naman agad-agad kong kinuha ang mga gamit ko saka tumayo at lumakad na.
