Bumalik ako sa loob ng nakakunot ang noo

'Anong ginagawa niya doon sa labas?' I thought.

Napabalik ako sa kasalukyan mula sa iniisip ko ng tanungin ako ni Sharl

"Saan ka galing?"

"Ahh...diyan lang sa labas. May tinignan lang."

Masaya kaming nagkukwentuhan Nina Dwayne at Sharl thou yung dalawa ay hindi magkasundo.

Sharlotte was being talkative and Dwayne has its own world. Hindi talaga compatible. I think they're just sticking together because they're both my friends. And I'm lucky I have them.

Dwayne was not a picture of a man I wanted to be friends with.  But I think it's way better than this.

"Malapit na ang prelims. Shems! Kinakabahan ako,Elly!" Sabi ni Sharlotte. A week from now,magkakaroon na kami ng prelims. Sabi nila,mahirap daw iyon lalo pa't engineering ang main degree program dito.

Kalma. I have a lot of time to review. Nahahawa kasi ako kay Sharl sa kanerbyosan niya.

"Ano ka ba! Think positive. We can do this." I said,trying to uplift his confidence.

Nagbuga siya ng hangin sa bibig niya, "Sana nga. Ayokong tumagal dito,'no!"

"And I can't stay any longer too with you being a motormouthed person." Dwayne sat up from his chair and leave us alone here in room.

"Bwiset! Mabuti pa nga! Ang pangit mo! Blee" saka siya dumila.

"Bakit ba hindi kayo magkasundo ni Dwayne?" I ask. Half curious.

"Tignan mo naman kasi ang ugali niya,napakasuplado! Hay naku,kahit na gwapo siya kung ganyan din lang ang ugali? Tsktsktsk..nevermind nalang." I want to laugh at her hysterically but I didn't.

"Seriously?" She nodded, proud of her answer "may gusto ka ba sa kanya?"

Agad nagsalubong and kilay niya, "what? Are you out of your mind? Me? Liking that annoying man? Hell..no way highway!" Then she hugged herself na parang nandidiri.

"Ang defensive mo naman,bes." Sabi ko ng nakangisi. "By the way,gusto mo mag group study tayo?"

She instantly nodded her head. I should tell it to Dwayne too.

Natapos na naman ang buong araw na may natutunan naman ako kahit papaano. Our teachers are very strict at napakaterror!

Nauna ng umalis ang dalawa at naiwan nalang ako dito sa school. I scooted around and found myself sitting on the grass in the broad field.

It was only four in the afternoon at mamayang six pa ang pagpunta ko sa bistro.

Manang Mabel knows it and I thank her because she hadn't told my parents about it.

I let out my book,ballpen and a bond paper from my bag. Gusto kong maging ready na para sa exam.

I was scanning and reviewing my notes when someone sitted on my right side.

"Need help?" He asked. It took a minute before it sinks in in my mind.

"Why?" I ask,made him confuse as his eyebrows formed into v-shape

"Huh?"

"Why are you here? Why are you offering me a help? We shouldn't seen and talked each other. 'Yon naman ang gusto mo di ba? Ang iwasan kayo?"

"Can you please forget it? I've already say sorry to you a couple of days ago" Now,it's my turn to meet my brows halfway. "What did I said to you was nonsense. Now, I can lend you a help. I can see it in your face."
