Hiding My Love (pt.4)

"Daniel James Howell! Get over here right now!" I stomped into our apartment and through the house key on the sofa couch. He didn't bother to come to me. I went to find him in his room, not there. I heard the water splash in the other room, he's taking a bloody shower. I walked over to his bed to see what he was hiding from earlier. I removed his blanket a bit and saw that it was a journal.

I was thinking. Do I read it? Do I let him keep his privacy? No. I need to see what was wrong with him. Hes been acting strange lately and I had to see what was going on.

I decided to read a page in his journal. It was basically about him introducing himself, so nothing really fishy on the first page.
I hear the door creak open. I shot up from his bed and hid his journal back into the same place it was before.
Dan came inside his room, naked. It was normal to see him naked so I didn't react like I saw a lion get shot.

"Phil what are you doing in here?" He asked, grabbing boxers from out of his dresser drawr. "I just came in here to yell at you" I shrugged and sat on his bed. He put on some clothes and sat next to me. "Okay, yell at me then"

I stood up. Grabbed all of my anger and shouted at him. For the first time, I had control. I was yelling. It didnt feel right though.

"Daniel James Howell! Why did you take the cab without me? You lwft me walking home alone! Someone could have stolen me!! Or even worse, raped me! Why did you change?! You used to be so nice to me! I hate how you are now!!" My voice started getting louder and louder. Dan just sat there taking in what I just said. He sat up and clenched his fist.

"Ive had enough, I don't care anymore!"  He screamed and walked out of his room, slamming the door behind him and making his lamp fall. I sat back down on his bed and started crying in my hands.
