EEE IM BACK. SCHOOL STARTED AND IK I SJOULDNT MAKE EXCUSES. I just wanted to apologize bc last chapter was not my best. Seriously you could make a drinking game of how many times I typed "felt". I'm improving on my writing and it's a tad embarrassing to see what I've written so far. But you guys enjoy so I promise I'm gonna fix it. Xxxxx
I woke up from the best sleep I've ever had. The bed was nothing compared to anything I've ever rested my head on before. Memories about last night quickly came but the moment of me ending up in a amazing bed was blurry. All I could remember was Wyatt picking me up and sleeping next to me. It was an eventful night.
I opened my eyes to a white clean wall. Then I shifted my body to turn over and saw the most gorgeous boy in existence. Wyatt was still asleep and his presence shocked me for a moment. My body tensed. How could I move, make a sound, or even breathe next to him. I pleaded to myself multiple times for him to wake up or me to fall asleep again. He must be the one to wake up first because I am not well in these situations.
Alas, my pleas were heard and I soon fell asleep again. Sweet dreams was an understatement to my slumber.
Though, I awoke when I felt Wyatt twist and turn a few times. He's waking up. I heard a groan and a leg accidentally touch mine. He froze. I however, quickly pretended to be asleep by making an ugly mouth opened expression and heavy breathing. I'm not good at improvising.
I felt Wyatt sit up from the bed. Soon the tilt in the bed was gone, leaving me to believe so was he. I opened my eyes cautiously and saw my conclusion was correct. I was alone. I relaxed more and fell asleep with no trouble.
The next time I woke up, I was still alone. I took it as my cue to get up and get ready for the day. After my shower and simple makeup was finished, I got dressed in a oversized tee and leggings. I was a short person so the tee was barely above my knee. Sure I was a slave, but I can be a comfy slave.
I went downstairs without hesitation since it was Friday. Wyatt's parents come on Tuesdays and stays until Wednesdays to check up on him. They stay in a guest bedroom and chose to move out so Wyatt could practice responsibility on his own. My parents wouldn't even let me get my nose pierced when I turned sixteen.
I could hear from the top steps Wyatt yelling at somebody.
"See you do this all the time, I went to the stupid party, I talked to your stupid friends, and acted accordingly, is that not good enough?!"
There was a long pause. I was scared to move my feet.
"It was just a few drinks mom!"
Ah so the mother. I decided to walk downstairs and distract Wyatt from his aggravation. But by the time I got to the bottom steps he was already ending the call. He was standing in the living room, in jeans and a plain black shirt, looking frustrated and starring down at his phone. His unnatural hearing already detected my presence in the room.
"I'll never be good enough." Wyatt sounded so broken.
I sat in a couch in front of him. He put his phone away and joined me leaning against the arm rest. A sigh escaped his lips as he rubbed his head stressfully.
"What happened?" I calmly asked.
"A little birdie told my mom that I had a little too much to drink last night." He mumbled the last part.
"Isn't that like a prideful thing for vampires?" I tried to understand.
"Were not animals, Kamille." Wyatt laughed but I could tell he wasn't really up for a joking mood.
