------------ 2 months later-------------

Rylie's POV:

Pulling up to the Dun's house was bittersweet for me. It's thanksgiving, and though I'm lucky to have family to celebrate it with, the only person I really want to have around it Josh. He and Tyler had been on tour for about a month now, and I missed him terribly. Sure, we called and face timed, but it wasn't the same. I shut off my car, checked my makeup in the mirror one last time, and exited the car. I quickly fixed my sweater, the bagginess of it could not contain my already big baby bump, and walked up the steps to the house. I raised my hand to knock, but the door was already swinging open. Warm air rushed against my face as Mama Dun greeted me.

"Rylie! I'm so glad that you could make it!" She beamed. I smiled and stepped inside.

"Me too, you have a lovely home Mama Dun" I said. She smiled.

"Supper will be ready in two hours, and all of Josh's siblings are in the family room" she said. I nodded my head, and slipped off my boats and jacket. After putting them in their respective places, I headed into the living room to see Ashley, Abigail and Jordan screaming at the T.V., Wii remotes in hands. I casually sat down, nobody noticing due to the intensity of the game, and watched them battle for title of 1st in Mario Kart. Jordan was about to cross the finish line when Abby blue-shelled him, and crossed the finish line.

"YES, YES! WHO'S THE BEST NOW, HUH JORDAN?" She yelled while jumping up and down while crazily dancing. Jordan rolled his eyes, and finally noticed me.

"Oh hey Ry, when did you get here?" He asked, the others finally noticing my presence.

"In just enough time to see Abby win" I smirked.

"Hey, I was winning the whole time! She cheated!" He whined. I rolled my eyes.

"Yea, riiiggghhttttt" I said earning laughs from almost everybody. Abby looked down at my stomach, and her eyes went wide.

"Oh my gosh, your bump is so big already!" She exclaimed. The others nodded in agreement.

"Twins" was my simple reply. They all laughed in agreement.

"DINNERRRR" Mama Dun called. We all looked at each other before scrambling out of the living room, and into the dining room. I must say, Mama Dun out-did herself. I stood in the doorway, staring in awe at all of the food she had prepared.

"Well, dig in" she said. I grabbed a plate, and loaded it up. We all sat down at the table, plates piled high with food, and held hands. Mr Dun began a prayer.

"Dear lord, we thank you for this food, for the health of our family, and for everything that lead to us meeting Rylie. Thank you for the blessings that are the twins, and please continue to watch over us... Blah blah blah.... Amen" he said. We all dropped hands, and dug in..... It was amazing. We talked about everything happening in our lives, and about the twins. So far everything has gone perfectly, and both babies look good. After dinner, we all cleared our plates, and I helped Ashley with dishes.

"So.... We're gonna be sisters.... That's pretty cool" I said. She rolled her eyes.

"Yea" she replied. She mumbled something under her breath that I didn't hear, but I decided to shrug it off. I placed the last plate in the cabinet, and hung the towel to dry.

"Rylie, wanna play Monopoly? It's tradition" Jordan said. I nodded my head.

"Sure, but be warned I'm amazing at this game" I warned. Everybody laughed, and we started the game.

An two hours later, I had almost every property, and it was down to Jordan and I. I needed him to roll a three, and land on Boardwalk.

"Please don't be a three, please don't be a three" Jordan whispered before tossing the dice. It was a three.

"HAHAHAHA I told you I'm the master monopoly player!" I hollered, throwing my money in the air. Jordan laughed, and Ashley rolled her eyes.

"Good game Ry, normally Josh wins... You two should play sometime" Mama Dun commented. I picked up the money, and saw Ashley go into the kitchen, so I followed her.

"Hey Ash? Did I do something wrong?" I asked. She slammed down her cup, and turned to face me.

"Oh nooooo Rylie. You did nothing wrong. I just think it's funny how my brother meets a little nobody slut, knocks her up, and that means that we can't ever see him anymore!" She said. I narrowed my eyes.

"Okay, first of all, he's on tour, and has a very demanding job, so it's not just me. Secondly we're starting a family, and are engaged.... If you have a problem then talk to him about it" I snapped. She leaned against the counter, and crossed her arms.

"I see why your dad left, and why your mom abused you... You're an annoying and arrogant slut! Do you honestly think that Josh would be marrying you if you weren't pregnant? I don't know what he sees in you!" She screamed. I felt tears brim my eyes, and Mama Dun walked into the kitchen.

"Ashley, that's enough!" She said sternly. Ashley rolled her eyes.

"I'm just saying, Josh could do so much better!" She said before storming out of the room. Mama Dun shook her head.

"I'm so sorry Ry. Ash and her brother have always been close, so this has been tough on her... Nothing that she said was true... Are you okay?" She asked. I shook my head.

"No I'm really not" was all I said before collecting my things, ignoring everybody's protests, and sped off in my car. I don't know how long I was driving, but I eventually stopped at a red light, the messages coming in rapidly. I ignored all of them, but saw that I had a few from Josh. I unlocked my phone, and read the messages from him:

From Joshy Boy: Happy Thanksgiving! I miss you!

From Joshy Boy: Babe, play monopoly, its tradition, and I need somebody to kick some ass for me!

From Joshy Boy: Awe don't ignore me babe.... Love you... Don't let my family intimate you... They're crazy, but mean well

From Joshy Boy: Are you okay?

From Joshy Boy: Rylie?

From Joshy Boy: Okay Jordan called me and told me everything... Nothing that Ash said was true... Please call me...

From Joshy Boy: Rylie, Where are you? Nobody knows where you went, and I'm three states away freaking out

Great Rylie, you ruined everybody's thanksgiving. I got a message from Tyler.

From TyTy the Butterfly: Josh is on the verge of a panic attack.... Where are you? Are you okay?

To TyTy the Butterfly: I'm fine... Just overwhelmed. I went for a drive, and am heading to Josh and I's house.

From TyTy the Butterfly: okay, drive safe.... If you can, call him... He's still freaking out.... He's also pissed at Ashley

To TyTy the Butterfly: I will

I sighed and put my phone down. The light turned green, and I made my way home. Turning the lock, and opening the door, I felt numb. I locked the door, and walked up the stairs into the nursery. Lately whenever I'm upset or missing Josh, I come up here. I looked on the shelves that we had put up, and picked up the picture frame that resided on it. The picture was one of Josh and I, me kissing Josh's cheek, and him grinning his famous grin. A small smile found its way to my face, and I put the picture back in its place. I sat down in the rocking chair in the corner, and pulled out my phone. I slowly dialed Josh's number.

Ring..... Ring.....Ring...

"Rylie?"

--------------------------------------------

I wanna go on record and say that Josh's family is full of amazing people, and that Ashley would never say anything like that....... Anywayyyyyy, another update as promised, though, there won't be very many more for this story... Love you all!
