*Mike's P.O.V*

I sat at the bar, slouched over and swirling the drink in my cup. Music blasted throughout the club, making everyone around me high off that 'dark room perfume'. Letting out another dramatic sigh, I sculled the rest of the drink and waved the bartender over. “Hey man, can I get another.” He gave me a smug smile, taking my cup and pouring another shot of whiskey in it.

“Here you go, enjoy.” He passed my cup over, his Australian accent lingering in my ear.

“You Australian?” I asked, raising an eyebrow and taking a sip of my drink. He smiled and nodded, wiping the bench infront of me. “Yessir, I am indeed.” I frowned slightly, nodding then placing the cup down. Spinning around on my seat to face the dance floor, my eyes scanned quickly for any one of the three familiar faces that dragged me here tonight. Saying something along the lines of “Cheer up Mike!” “Let's go have a beer... or two!” “What happened to WhiskeyHands!” Rolling my eyes at myself I stood up, looking over the jumping heads. I just wanted to go home, I was not enjoying this. Even if I had had a few drinks, the buzz wasn't sinking in. “Hey man!” A hand rested on my shoulder and I jumped, my heart pounding hard in my chest.

“Ah! Fuck!” I spun around, clutching at my chest to be faced with a beaming Tony. “What the fuck man! Where have you's been?” He shrugged at me, lazily and laughed.

“Come dance man, we're having soooooo much fun! Come!” I shook my head at him, frowning and still abit annoyed at his scare before.

“Nah I'm good, I wanna head home.” He pouted at me then tilted his head, leaning all his weight onto one leg.

“Don't be such a fuck, come on! We did this for you man, and you're moping!” I rolled my eyes and shook my head again.

“Sorry, just not in the mood.” He shrugged then pulled out his phone from his pocket and handed it to me.

“Fine grumpy, can you hold onto this though? I've almost lost it twice. I'll go get the other two.” He pointed behind him with his thumb then turned back to dash into the crowd. I groaned, as some blond with huge boobs checked me out from a far, making me shudder. Which was weird, because I'm all for attention from the ladies, but not tonight. It's been like that for... weeks now. I pursed my lips then sat back down at the bar, playing with my drink again like I was in the beginning of the night. How can Vanessa mean so much to me, in such little time? Taking another sip of my drink, I still continued to ponder away in my thoughts about how this girl meant so much to me.

*Buzz Buzz*

I reached into my pocket, pulling out Tony's phone to see what the buzzing was for. A pang of hurt hit me square in the heart again as I saw the name lit up on the screen with a message. Vanessa :) . Frowning slightly I scanned my eyes over the text message, feeling rage boil up in me.

Vanessa: oh yeah? well you boys have fun, im totally having my fair share! ;) il be fine tonight, we can hang tomorrow. goodnight! X

They were texting? How the fuck did he get her number? They're going to be hanging tomorrow? Scrolling up through their conversation, I couldn't help but feel every part of me hurt and feel betrayed. He was my bestfriend, yet all I was seeing was messages like 'Hey I hope you're okay, talk soon X” , “Hope today was okay, stay happy :)” , “Sorry for Hime, he didn't mean that. Hope things go good with your mom.” sent to the girl I really dig. Clenching my hand around the phone, I felt like snapping it. My mind thumped furiously in my head as I tried to reassure myself it was just all in my mind, and they weren't just sneaking around behind my back. “Mike! Let's go man! The guys are outside.” Hime's voice shouted over the music and I spun around quickly, glaring at him and walking furiously towards the exit with him confused and partially drunk behind me.
