"Love In Heaven"

How I wished to travel back to the past

Just to hold her again in my arms

To see her face glowing so brightly,

To be together as lovers in paradise!

Those days seemed forever

Lasting like eternity

A promise we made together----

She loves me and I love her!

The wind from heaven

Snatched me from the past

To see myself lying. . .

Everyone's crying. . .

My heart is dying!

She caressed the crystal that covers my face,

Showering me the tender kisses I would really miss

Her tears moisten the dryness of glass.

Oh, how it's long comforting her,

To tell her that "I'm only here"!

The heaven opened for me to enter,

As the sound of the mourners grew louder

I kissed my love for the last time,

"Goodbye"! It's so hard to say,

The atmosphere carried me away

I later realized my journey was over,

My life with her was now in the history

Of lovers in disaster, tragedy!

As I took my first step

On the stairway to heaven,

I heard she whispered the words I love to hear,

My heart speaks for itself the words I want to say. . .
