Chapter 4: Are you okay?

(Sarah's POV) Finally, Alexis can tell me all aboit last night, i thought  with excitement. Then i can tell her about my night. So last night i was walking around the neighborhood and all thw sudden a bat flew into my hair and starated to scratch me. When it flew away I thought i heard it say something, but i shook that thought out of my head and thought about the fact that it was weird that a bat was around this area. Anyway i walk a up to the door and knock. "Oh hi Sarah" Alexi's mom said. "Oh, hi. Where is Alexis?" Said Sarah surprised to see Alexi's mom. " "Oh", her face turning pale, "She is not looking  very good today. She is very pale and is still sleeping. Which  is very odd for her. She is usually more lively but you can go check on her if you like." She said, the color in her face returning. "Yeah, I would like to check on her" i said quietly. I walked by her and up the stairs. I opened the door and i could see her still  sound asleep. I know I shouldn't wake her up but the mystery of the date is agonizing me. After shaking her for a minute ,she woke up. Her face was pale and her eyes looked tired. "Are you okay" i said concerned. Her mom was right she did not look very good.  "Yeah im fine" she said weakly. I knew that was a lie. " How did the date go!" I said trying to change the subject" i said excited. "Well i have a boyfriend!" She said sleepily. My mouth dropped. "YEEAAHH" i screamed. "Oops" i said embarrassed. She laughs loudly. "Oww" she cried, cringing. "What's wrong" i said checking what was wrong. And then i saw it. A big bloody mark. "Where did you get this"I demanded. "Well Matthew did kiss me there but I don't think it would hurt." She said weakly. "Well it looks like he bit it. There are two teeth marks. Like a vampire." I replied jokingly. "Are you still tired" i said. She didn't need to reply because she was already asleep. I hope she is okay, I thought.
