Chapter 5: A Problem with Pictures

"Hey,Sarah want to go to the festival at 5"
"If course! I would love to. Meet you in 2 minutes."
When i walked up to the door i could hear Alexis and hee mom having an argument. "I am feeling so much better, I'm fine!" Aleixs yelled frustrated. "Fine, but be home early" her mom huffed. "By 11". "Thank you. I love you, bye" she replied and gave a reassuring smile.
"You ready" i said
"Yep but we have to stop to pick up Matthew" she said with a bright smile spread across her face.
She can't hide her joy.  I thought chuckling to myself. We arrived to his house. It didn't look like someone has been living in it. It looked abandoned. But Matthew came strutting out in all black. I looked over to Alexis and she bit her lip. I could see her glowing with happiness. She can't contain it. He hopped in the car and i shifted the gear and we headed towards the fair. "We are here!" "YAH" alexis screamed breaking her kiss with Matt.
"Ok we are going to take a picture in front of the sign." I shouted. I looked back and i saw Matt's face go pale,( oh wait that's my imagination he can't go any paler lol). "Uhh what's wrong with taking a picture"I questioned.
"Uhh" he stuttered. " Umm I'm just a little,i mean im not really allowed in pictures" he said nervously. "Ook" i replied. What's the problem with picture? I thought to myself.
"Do you and Matthew want to go on the Ferris wheel"
"Of course" Alexis replied quickly.
She cannot contain excitement. She's falling hard for "Mr. Right", as she considers him.
"I'll be in the hall of mirrors if you need me!" I holler.
Lie. I'm going to take a picture to see what happens. I know vampires are fake but it just seems weird that Alexis has teeth marks. It's also weird that he has such a big insecurity with pictures when he is hot and he knows it too.
I take out my phone and walk over to wear the passengers board the ferris wheel cars. I spot the couple and raise my phone to take the picture and i see Matt's eyes widen. Perfect picture, i thought laughing to myself. I press the button. "Let's see this picture" i said muttering to myself. Sarah's eyes widened with fear, she dropped her phone to the ground. I reach for my phone and pinched myself to see if it was true ... and it was. I gazed at Alexis and then i looked over to Matt shouod be. Nothing. Zip. Zap. Just air. The pieces of the puzzle are now fitting together. The teeth marks and the picture . I know why there is a problem with a picture.
