Chapter 4

I was walking home that night while staring at the starry sky. It was so beautiful that I couldn't take my eyes of it. When I got home I got the keys of my house and unlocked it . "Mom I'm home!" I closed the door and took off my shoes. I heard someone walking towards me "Where were you all this time!? I was so worried!"

Mom pulled me close and hugged me tight. I felt a bit guilty...After all I'm everything my mom has, after my father left us. "M-Mom I was with my friends...I'm sorry I won't take so much time again..."
"Its okay sweetie" she said, I guess she was really worried. I smiled at her "I'm going to my room, I'll clean up later ." I took my blazer off and went upstairs.

Me and my mom lived alone. I never had a chance to meet him, but my mom says he isn't a very good man, so I never try to contact him.

I took my bag off my shoulders and jumped in my bed. "Ahh..." I yawned. "I'm so tired..." I felt like I could just close my eyes and fall right asleep but I just got reminded how much chores I need to do...and homework too .

I started doing my homework and time passed by, when I finally finished I felt like I was missing something out.

Something clearly wasn't right but I couldn't remember what it was.

"Kookie!" That name has been on top of my head all day...He hadn't come to school today...It was so boring without him.

"I hope he comes tomorrow..." I said in my head. I sighed and looked at the wall..."I miss him..."

I got up and did all the chores for today. And that was all. How I basically spend my time at home working. After that I brush my teeth and go to sleep.

I got up in my room and checked the time [12 pm] ... I was so tired from all that happened today so I just feel in my bed and went to sleep.

"Buzz buzz......buzz buzz"

School again. I got up from my bed feeling raghter better. As I normally go to sleep at 2-3 am I think I got my tiredness away.

I go to my bathroom, go to the kitchen for breakfast, done. I'm off to leave.

I walked to school a bit happier today. Most of the time apim depressed in the morning because I'm always tired. I guess this is going to be a better day.

I noticed after days pass it gets colder and colder . I didn't really mind much because I love cold weather. When I got into the school my teacher , Miss Yona ran up to me. "Chang Ayeon!" I got startled because I got into trouble ! "W-what is it Miss?" I said stuttering, she started explaining...

"Your friend, Jeon Jungkook is sick...He can't make it today , his mother had to go to job today and there's nobody to look after him...Can you please go until his mom comes back, she will be back after 2 hours ."

I was confused, but at least I could spend time with Kookie.
Miss Yona continued "A student from fourth grade will go with you as well, Kim Seokjin"

I didn't remember who it was at first but when I saw a tall and handsome figure walk towards us I remembered perfectly who it was.

"Ayeon!" He said loudly "Long time no see!" I got a bit nervous when he talked to me like we were some kind of old friend. "Hello Jin..." I said quietly as Miss Yona continued after me "Please look after him good after him, Here!" She gave us Jungkook's address and phone number if we have to call if we get lost.

"Miss Yona! Before we leave I want you to give my homework!" I took my homework out and gave it to her . She looked at me surprised because I guess students get this chance to skip class. "Oh that's nice of you, what a great kid you are...You two should probably go now! Bye!"
