Chapter 5

Friday. I turned my alarm off the same as every other. I looked through the window to look at the sky, I hugged my pillow tight and took my phone from the charger.

I was happy that my friend finally got better. I'm glad I took good care of him, but just thinking about it I get reminded what happened between me and Jin.

We almost kissed.

I started changing and getting my books in my backpack. I rushed downstairs to eat breakfast.

I sat down at my chair.

"Hey sweetie" my mom said as I sat down, "Hey mom..." I started eating my breakfast slowly, just think about want happened yesterday. "Is something wrong?" She asked worryingly. I sighed "Its nothing mom...I'm not hungry." I took my bag and started walking out "Have a good day at school today honey!"

I shut the door behind me and started walking to school like every other morning.

I started walking the same road and only liked at my feet while walking, having mixed thoughts in my head .

"Ayeon?"

"Huh?!" I looked up as I got awaken from my thoughts. I look up.

"Kookie!!"

I jump from excitement to see him. "I'm so happy to see you!! Ahh! I thought that you would stay home..." He chuckled "I don't break promises." I smiled at him cheerfully. "Thank you for taking care of me Ayeon, you really helped me...I was a little embarrassed because you had to go through all that..." I got a bit nervous as he was apologizing to me. "I-its okay !! Your my friend after all!"

We continued walking to school chatting, we talked about the things I did at school while Kookie was sick.

I've met new friends! You have to meet them!" I told him what happened, and the time I was at that hunted house.

We finally got into the school and started walking to our classroom when suddenly Jin ran towards us. "Hello there, Jungkook."

Kookie stood confused "Hello?" , Jin continued "I'm glad your feeling better now, me and Ayeon took so much care of you!" he said nicely, Kookie still confused, replied simply "Oh thanks!"

Jin then looked at me "Ayeon was really worried about you." Both of them had their eyes on me "I-I was only scared...Kookie we have to go to class now." I ran inside the classroom alone sitting on my seat and waiting for Kookie to come in.

After few seconds he walked inside and I was only pretending to not see him.

"Don't ignore me Chang Ayeon!" I took my book and placed it over my head. "Don't get the wrong idea!!" I refused to look at him. "I didn't even say anything!?" We both laughed and took our books out

The classes started and I took notes as much as I could. I didn't like studying at all, but I still got good grades because I want a good future and just told myself to do it.

The bell rung and lunch break started .

I put the books back in my bag. "Hey Kookie, let's go buy something...Ahh I'm so hungry..." I put my hands on my stomach because I didn't eat so much in the morning. "Mhm..." He mumbled back and we started going to a bakery near the school

"Yo Ayeon!" A voice called my name . I turned around right after to see my friends Yoongi and Hoseok standing in front of me.

"O-oh hello guys" I was surprised to see someone like them looking for him, my cheeks got red a bit because I got nervous.
