Long Distance Relationship - Camren

Chapter 1O: Things change.

Camila's POV.

I was not going to lie, Dinah meeting Lauren made me really nervous. My best friend could be the biggest tease in life. We barely came into the restaurant and Lauren was already nervous, and all I could do was to warn her about how was the night going to go.

We sat in a special table that Dinah reserved for us; it was far from the noise and in a relative private area.

"So Lauren" Dinah started, I had to admit that she looked really beautiful "Tell me about you".

"Um well, I work for my parent's company, which is the biggest company in the motorcycling line" the green eyed girl spoke, and I saw how her eyes lighted up when she talked about her job, seems that she is really proud "I live in Miami and I have my own house even for my relatively young age".

"And what made you come here?" Dinah spoke as if this was an interrogatory.

"I came to New York because I had to meet Camila" she said with so much confidence looking at me with a smile on her face, and she leaned to give me a kiss on the cheek which made me giggle.

"Good answer, my questions are over, I have more but that was in case you didn't respond the way I wanted" Dinah laughed.

"Okay let's enjoy this dinner" I said to both girls, giving Lauren's thigh a gentle squeeze as we were sitting next to each other in front of Dinah.

The rest of the night went pretty well, my best friend and the girl I like got along too well, they even exchanged numbers, and Lauren even talked to her about Normani, which I really wanna meet, as she is Lauren's best friend.

Once the night was over Lauren and I made our way to my house again. It was pretty late already, and we took a quick shower before changing our pajamas and heading to bed.

"Camz, can I use your computer?" Lauren asked me in a sweet voice, in my bed, she was wearing one of my oversized shirts and short that was hidden behind it, while I was just wearing one of her oversized shirts with underwear.

Lately these days we have been sleeping in my bed because we both enjoyed each other's company, getting late night talks or just simply feeling the warmth that our bodies provided us.

"Sure, here" I said handing her my computer.

"Thanks" she said "Normani wants to skype with me, she said something happened there in work, Jessica told her to tell me and to make a decision" she kept with a serious face.

"Hey Mani, before you tell me let me introduce you to Camila" she held my hand and pulled me in bed with her.

"Hey Mila" said the woman in the other side of the screen, she is really beautiful with a smile that was simply contagious.

"Hey, nice to meet you" I said politely to her resting my head in Lauren's shoulder.

"Nice to meet you too" Normani said smiling.

"So... what's the problem?" Lauren asked.

"Your father is here" Normani said to Lauren "And he came with all the family from wherever they were"

"Why so early?" Lauren asked to Normani.

"I don't know how to tell you this Lauren without you getting freaked out, but" the woman in the other side of the screen took a deep breath before she kept going "Taylor, she fell from a mountain that wasn't so high, but she broke her leg, and she has some severe cuts" she completed.

I was shocked, Lauren certainly talked me about her family and how close they were and as soon as Normani finished saying the news I saw Lauren's face with tears, and all I could do was hug her and hold her tightly.
