Chapter 16: My girl.

Camila's POV.

I woke up in Lauren's room, somewhere in the middle of the night we decided to come upstairs to sleep better and in a comfy place. After my vision was adjusted, I remembered the reason why I woke up: my phone was ringing. I took it and saw it was from a private number, not wanting to wake up Lauren I answered.

"Hello?" I said in my morning voice.

"Camila, please listen to me" Cara's voice came from the other side of the line.

"What the fuck do you want?" I said raising my voice and I saw Lauren sitting abrouptly in bed.

"Camz are you okay?" She asked in a worried voice, her left hand was holding the sheet around her naked body.

"Who is it?" Cara's voice was heard again in the line.

"Why do you care Cara?" I said her name so Lauren would get the message, her green eyes looked directly into mine and she raised an eyebrow before motioning me to hand her my phone.

I honestly didn't want to cause any problem, and I didn't want to talk to Cara, so trusting Lauren I handed her my phone, she pressed the speaker button and talked.

"Why are you calling my girl?" Lauren said in a possessive tone.

"Who the fuck are you?" Cara asked.

"I think you are dumb cause you didn't get the 'my girl' message" Lauren kept talking and I let out a giggle.

"Are you her girlfriend?" she asked in a surprised tone.

"Her future wife, goodbye" Lauren said and as soon as she hung up we both started to laugh.

"So my future wife huh?" I said laying in bed again and turning to my side to face the green eyed girl.

"Of course" She said mimicking my movements.

"I like how that sounds" I said in a low whisper, getting closer to Lauren, finally capturing her lips on mine, and kissing her slowly.

"Y'all better wake up now cause br-" I heard Dinah's voice as she abruptly opened the door, seems like we forgot to lock it "NORMANI DON'T COME HERE" Dinah screamed as she saw the state Lauren and I were in "CALL ALLY AND TELL HER TO BRING HOLY WATER, MY PURE AND INNOCENT EYES SAW SOMETHING THEY SHOULD NEVER HAVE" Dinah said covering her eyes and exiting the room, as soon as the door was closed, Lauren and I laughed.

"Seems like we've been caught" I say giggling.

"I'm gonna take a shower, and then you should too" Lauren said starting to get up, the sheet still safely around her naked body.

"Do you want me to join you?" I asked her raising my eyebrow and smirking.

"If you do, we won't be out in a long time, plus I think they might be waiting for us" okay, fair point she had.

"Hurry then" I said pulling the sheets all to myself uncovering Lauren, and my eyes glued to her amazing body.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer" she said standing up and going to the bathroom, leaving me speachless in the room.

When we both finished our morning routine we headed down to the kitchen, to find Normani, Dinah and Ally already in the table.

"Hey guys, hey Ally" I said as I was the first to walk into the kitchen, then Lauren followed me and said hi as well, but giving Ally a kiss on the forehead.

"Mani called me saying it was an emergency and that I had to bring holy water" Ally said "of course I knew they were joking, but I needed to find out what was all this about" she concluded serving herself a cup of coffee and some toasts.

"And did they tell you?" Lauren asked cutting her fruits.

"Yes, you nasty" Ally said, and that made us all look at her surprised "What? At least lock the door, poor Dinah was all scared" she said in a motherly tone bringing Dinah's head to her shoulder and kissing her right temple before patting her back.

"Stop over reacting Dinah, nothing you and Mani haven't done already" Lauren said in a sarcastic tone, but Dinah lifted her head from Ally's shoulder and looked down, blushing, and Normani looked away.

"NO WAY" I said almost choking on my banana.

"Normani Kordei what the hell?" Ally said in a surprised tone.

"Did you at least change the sheets?" Lauren asked casually.

"Yes" Dinah tried to play it cool.

"Moving on" I said changing the subject, too much bullying to Dinah for today "Dinah and I need to go to my parent's hotel today, they asked us to spend the day with them cause they wanted to show us I don't know what" I said cleaning my mouth with the napkin.

"What time do you have to go?" Lauren said pouting, and I couldn't resist so I leaned to peck her lips, which by the way tasted absolutely sweet.

"After breakfast babe, can you take us there please?" I asked her.

"Sure, let's finish and I'm gonna take you" Lauren said in a sweet tone.

What she didn't know is that I was gonna prepare her surprise, today was the big day, I was gonna ask Lauren to be my girlfriend, I already talked with my parents about having the new restaurant for us all day, and after some begging they agreed. So Dinah and I had to go to the hotel to pick all the stuff I ordered online days ago and the keys so we could prepare all for today.

After we finished breakfast we said goodbye to Mani and Ally, they were going to hang out with Lauren today to keep her busy until night, we already planned everything.

We got into Lauren's car, and she started driving. I was looking outside of the window, thinking about all the ways today could go. If she accepts then I would do everything in my power to make her the happiest girl in the world, she was going to be mine and I was going to be hers. But... what if she says no? Then, we stop talking? we stop meeting? we stop our feelings? my head was all over the place, all possible scenarios were playing. I have to stay possitive on this.

After some more minutes of overthink eveything I felt a warm hand placed on my thigh and I turned my vision away from the window to see Lauren's hand opened waiting for mine.

I smiled at how sweet this simple action was, I let out a giggle and interwined my fingers with hers, it felt right. This simple gesture made all the negative thoughts go away. This was going to be our night.

The ride was silent, only the music playing on the radio, and once we got there, Dinah got down first saying 'she would leave us alone to finish what she interrupted'.

"Call me whenever you want me to pick you up okay?" Lauren said turning her body to face me from her seat.

"I will, babe, take care okay?" I said extending my hand to her cheek and caressing. She closed her eyes when our skins made contact and she leaned against my touch, to then turn her head a little more to kiss my palm.

"Okay, say hi to Sinu and Alejandro" the green eyed girl said before I leaned to kiss her.

"See you later, love" I said getting down from the car and walking to the door of the hotel, I turned around to wave Lauren and she waved back with a big smile on her face.

I entered the hotel, directly to my parent's room, the employee opened us the door, cause they were in a reunion, when I crossed the door, I saw all the stuff I ordered, and the keys of the restaurant with a paper that has a direction written on it.

"Let's do this" I whispered to myself.
