Welcome to my life -1

( hey I'm Mel and this is my first book so plz don't judge and enjoy :3 )
Hi, I'm Melany ( Mel for short ). I'm 16 years old and I'm an orphan, my parents died from a car crash when I was 4 and since I don't have anyone that's family to take me in, I got sent to "Mrs Vivians Orphanage".
I have chocolate brown eyes and straight brown hair that goes up to my funny bone, small lips and I'm also very short.

10:03am 1/8/16 *melany's POV*
"Mel it's time to get up! We got visitors coming!!" Said Mrs Vivian " Ok, Ok! I'm awake give me 10 minutes I'll be down stairs miss!" I replied back

I didn't really be bothered getting all 'fancy up' because I know they all go for the babies and never go for the kids who could either walk or talk. I put on a blue top,white shorts and white vans. I brushed my hair and brushed my teeth and quickly went downstairs to meet up with the other girls.

" hey guys ! Sorry I woke up late again" I laughed to my friends Zoe and Cecilia. " not surprised that you wake up late on adoption day, you always do" Zoe said laughing while cecilia just agreed. We were all just talking and not paying any attention to the people walking in and out until a group of guys caught our attention because a bunch of the other kids that are around my age starting screaming and crying.

There were about 6 guys there and I'm not gonna lie they are pretty cute. Zoe, cecilia and I look at each other in amazement and just stared at them for about 5-10 minutes  ( we've all done it before so shhhh ) till they start walking to Mrs. Vivian, once they stopped talking I saw Mrs Vivian going to the intercom and she said " can all girls between the ages of 14-17 please line up. Everyone else please go back to your room till they are finished. Thank you" Cecilia's, Zoe's and my eyes widen up and all looked at each other, " OMG WE CAN BE CHOSEN" I practically scream " don't get your hopes up mel. But it would be awesome to be adopted by them" cecilia says which me and Zoe agree with. We go to line up and one by one we get a little bit close till I'm at the very front of the line. " NEXT" Mrs Vivian yelled, I walked into a quiet room with all the guys staring at me which was kinda weird but I just shook it off and sat down.

" hi Melany I'm Ricky and this is Connor, JC, Kian, Trevor and Sam. We are just gonna ask you a couple questions, it's not personal" I just nodded and he smiled
( the bold writing is mel and the normal writing is Ricky )
"Type of music you like?" " all but mostly punk rock and EDM "
" do you smoke or drink?" " nope"
" how do you feel about living in a house with 6 guys and no girls?" " I'm cool with it, can't be that bad right?"
" do you know how to use a skateboard?" "ride them everyday"
Then that JC guy said " do you like Arizona ?!?!?" I laughed and nodded my head
He laughed and high-fived  me.
" that's all the question we have thank you" Ricky said " it's all good bye guys " I responded and they all said bye back and I walked out the door. " how was it??!!" Zoe and Cecilia ran up to me " I think I did alright but I highly doubt it that I'll get chosen" I said while we walk back to our rooms

*Ricky's POV*
" let's choose her! She's perfect" Trevor says and Sam nodding his head " okay so let's vote on wether we get Melany or not, hands up for yes and hands down for no " I said and everyone put their hand up. " so it's settled melany is gonna be apart of the o2l family!" I cheer while clapping my hands like a seal.

" hold on who's gonna be the dad?" Sam stops us " I think JC should be the dad " we all look at JC while his eyes widen and looks at us confused " wait why me?!" He basically screams, " oh shush you will be a great dad" Connor says while patting his back, he nods and said " okay, yeah, I'll be the dad" while smiling. right after he said that Mrs Vivian came in " so she was the last one have you guys made the decision?" She said with a warming smile " yes we have we would like to have Melany, JC will be the dad" Kian said " Oh what a great choice she is perfect, I'll go get her and the papers !" She said clapping and she went outside.

*melany's pov*
I was listening to All time low when there was a knock on my door. I opened the door and Mrs Vivian came in " melany your getting adopted pack your stuff!!" She said smiling. I dropped my phone and screamed " WHAT??"

(first chapter probably sucks but oh well hope you enjoy :)))))
