I woke up to a very bright sun shining through my window; I had been in bed for most of the weekend due to the party on Friday, 2 words, bad hangover.
I got out of bed and checked the time and then I realised I had woken up to early but once I was awake, I was awake. I walked over to my closet and looked around, I decided on wearing black skinny jeans, a white rolling stones shirt and a black cardigan. I set the pile of clothes on my bed and went in the bathroom to take a shower.
After taking a shower I got dressed and did my hair, I straightened it and styled my side-fringe and then hair sprayed it. I applied a little powder, concealer and eyeliner before going downstairs and turning on the TV.
Surprisingly, nothing was on TV so I went back upstairs to my room; I sat down at my desk and turned on my laptop. When my laptop had turned on I logged on to Facebook to see a huge amount of statuses over the past weekend all about the same thing…wait…oh no!
“What happened between Latasha and Mason?”
“I heard Latasha and Mason are dating?”
“Who’s heard about Latasha and Masons little act at the party?”
I checked Masons profile to see a ton of posts on his wall.
“You and Latasha?”
“Get in there bro!”
“Latasha ay?”
What the hell happened that night?
I quickly logged out of Facebook and slammed my laptop shut. I ran in to the bathroom feeling as sick as ever but the whole time the only thing running through my mind was “What happened?”
After being sick about 3 times I cleaned myself up and brushed my teeth, I went back downstairs and sat watching TV until Mason and Ricky would arrive.
About 45 minutes later there was a knock at the door and I grabbed my bag and put on my black converse, I opened the door to see Ricky standing there and…wait, Mason wasn’t there?
“Where’s Mason?” I asked suspiciously.
“Oh, he said he wasn’t coming to school today.” He replied casually.
I frowned. “Oh…right.”
I stepped out of the house and locked the door behind me. Ricky tried to make a conversation but I couldn’t reply I was too busy thinking “Why wasn’t mason at school?” or “What happened at the party?”
“Latasha, are you ok?” Ricky asked me.
“Huh?” I pulled a confused face and then laughed. “Me? Yeah! Of course I’m fine!” I lied.
“Whatever you say.”
I walked through the school gates and in to the big building, walking down the halls people were whispering and glaring at me. I just raised my eyebrows at them in confusion What in the world was going on? Then I heard someone shouting me.
“Latasha!” A familiar voice shouted.
I turned around to see Emily running down the hall.
“Latasha.” She said when she finally reached me, leaning over and putting her hand on my shoulder to catch her breath.
“Latasha…is it…true?” She said between heavy breaths.
Was what true? Rumours are going round about me?
“Is what true?” I asked, curious.
“Is it true that…” She gulped. “You and Mason had…sex.”
