Mary's POV:

I love Fern...very much that I see her as my own daughter. But that would never be true, unless my son would choose her to be her bride. Now that would NEVER happen sadley.  My son HATES her.  Sure she's a little clumsy but,....at least she'll be honest and loyal with him. All of these other females  are literally all over him! Drooling and giving him googly eyes it's rediculous!

I just want a nice and sweet she wolf for my dear son and Fern matches the script. I just hope he realizes it.

Greyson's POV:

My mom absolutely loves Fern but I don't know why. No reason at all. She's stupid, ugly, clumsy, and oblivious to her surroundings.  I think this while I'm exiting the den to meet the guys for "hunting". This is how it goes: I do the hunting while they talk about the she wolves not too far from where I am at.  Yep, that's my typical hunting.

Derek: "Hey Grey!! We hunting so deer or turkey today?"

Greyson: "Umm maybe deer so I can have Fern make a deer head mantel."

Derek: "Dude she is not smart enough to do that!"

Greyson: "Shush my mom might here you!"

Derek: "Fine let's just go."

As we headed towards a nearby female deer and her fawn. The guys stayed back as I crept closer. While I was hiding in the bush I got in crouching position.  Then I lunged at the deer and started to bite her neck and puncture a arterie. When she went limp the guys cheered and whooped. As we headed back to the cave the rest of the pack greeted us.  I got many "you're so strong and handsome" and "wow you're awesome" from the she wolves except from one.  Fern ran up to me and everything went quiet.

Fern: Did that deer have a fawn with you?"

Greyson : um yes but why?"

She didn't even respond back! She just took off into the woods. Soon everyone was talking about how weird and stupid she was to ignore me.

Fern's POV:

How can he do that to the poor fawn!!? I huff in anger trying to calm my rage.  Soon I came to a clearing that smelled of deer blood.  I soon spot the fawn shaking behind a bush. I slowly approach it and sit in front of it.

The Fawn: Please don't eat me i-iii just want my mommy back.

Fern: I'm sorry......but...you can't get your mommy back...are you hungry I'll go find you berries if you are.

The Fawn: yes I am hungry but ...why aren't you eating me like your leader... and...are they..

Fern:yes they are eating...her....im not like them...I wouldnt have minded if she didn't have any children but she did...im sorry.

And with that I went to go find the Fawn some berries but it started to follow me.

Fawn: I'm sorry. I'm scared a wolf not nice as you would find me...

Fern:that's alright. Just stay close behind understood.

Fawn: yes ma'mm. But...where would I go.

Fern: I can look after you until you are able to because....my pack doesn't really let me get away with stuff...at all cuz...im not like them.

Fawn:ok so your my.?

Fern: kinda like a step mom for now ok?

Fawn: yes mamma

I blush and look away for a second until I spot a bush filled with fresh wild berries.

'How am I going to explain this one...' I think.
