Fern's POV:
When we arrived at the den, Maple was tired and was ready for her nap.
"Maple sweety, do you want to take a nap?" I asked her softly.
"(Yawn) yes please..." Maple said tiredly. So I led her to a nice shaded area next to the den without the others noticing.
"Mama...can you sing for me?" She asked.
"Yes dear..." I soon start to sing the song I've known since I was a pup.
"The Earth is spinning, slowly spinning. The stars and moon now fill the sky. Magic roams, the night beginning so sing a la la lullaby-Greyson's POV:
When I head back to the den, I hear an angelic voice. Once I find where it was coming from, the song was coming to an end.
-"so sing sing sing with me, a la la lullaby~"
I look next to the den to see Maple snuggling up to Fern, lightly dozing off. Fern looks lovingly at Maple before nuzzling Maple with her muzzle. Before I realized what I was saying it was too late.
"You have a beautiful voice you know that?" I immediately blushed and covered my mouth.
"Oh um uh!!!! Thank you!" Fern said stuttering with a deep red blush on her cheeks.
"Don't look deep into it ok? I only said it cause you helped me stand." I said. Wow where did that come from!? I look down at Fern and see her head low and her ears flat on her head.
"Yes sir..." Fern said quietly. From the corner of my eye I see Maple giving me a tired glare. I guess I was a bit too harsh huh?
"Greyson!!! What are you doing with that...well what could I say, that mutt?"
Ugh it's her again...Stacy only likes me because she wants to be higher up than the rest. I look over and see Fern put her tail between her legs. Is she that scared if Stacy.
'Speak of the devil...'
Stacy is still in wolf form but somehow manages to drag me over to her cliché. I turn one more time only to see Fern on the verge of tears, staring at the ground.
'Don't cry...im sorry...'
