Emmett POV

After I had watched Yvette storm off towards school I knew i fucked up horribly and royally. As soon as she did, I slammed my face against my Jeep and growled at myself angrily. Of course I absolutely had to watch over her while she slept.. God damnit, but I was so hurt when we separated like that and wanted to make sure she was okay. Edward suddenly gets on edge right after Alice and Jasper zoom off towards the treeline.

"We'll be right back get Emmett home!" Alice cries out before they left. Jasper tried sending a calm wave at me which got me every more confused. I look at Edward.

"Ed what the hell is wrong?" I growl out and get into the drivers seat of the Jeep, listening to Alice's advice.

"Just fucking drive home." He snaps and I get angry. Is Yvette okay?! What's wrong?! I scream into my thoughts but Ed tries to pretend I'm not here. Shit! With Yvette being hurt in my mind, my white Jeep yanks out of the parking lot and screeches down the street towards our house.

Don't think like that Emmett, Jasper maybe had an outburst and had to go hunt? Yvette is probably in class right now, no worries. Please let her be okay.. My windows were rolled down and suddenly I heard a very terrified scream from the woman I fell in love with. The Jeep swerves off road as I go to follow Yvette's scream but Ed grips the steering wheel and yanks it back to the road. A very tasty scent filling my nostrils as I felt my eyes widen. Edward growls at me before letting go of the wheel.

"Emmett it's too late." He mumbled sadly. Yvette isn't fucking dead. She isn't! My sparkling white skin gripping the steering wheel tightly until we come to a complete stop in front of our house. Inside, I see Alice holding her cheek and Carlisle checking in on her and Jasper. No Yvette in sight nor could I smell her intoxicating scent anymore in a five mile radius.

I slam the Jeep door shut, the window cracking as I storm up the stairs and straight to Alice. Once she catches a glance at my posture, I felt her body shrink and her eyes sadden. Jasper puts a hand on my shoulder and sent soothing vibes throughout my body. But still I felt enraged and curious where Yvette is at.

"Where is she?!"

"Emmett I'm s-sorry we tried g-g-getting her but she.." Alice tried explaining but she trailed off.

"Who Alice?!" I snap at her. I'm positive my once golden eyes are solid black. Yvette is okay. I know she is.

"Victoria, Emmett! She turned Yvette!" Alice cries out into a sob. I stood there in shock and rage. "I tried to change the future by not taking yo-"

"I was in your damn vision?" Alice nods shakily and Jasper steps closer. "What was I doing? What was Yvette doing?!" Carlisle then stepped in and gave me a strict look and I backed away from my sister.

"In the vision, after Victoria bit her, you tried sucking out the venom E-Emmett but.... You sucked her dry i-i-in my vision." She reasons. I would've never hurt Yvette, but since she is my mate I could've gotten too into it..

"Where the hell is Victoria then?" Edward answered my question this time.

"She is still in the area but I can't see Yvette's thoughts anymore, Emmett." Edward mumbles then looks at the family who all decided to come in. "She is taunting you Emmett." That fucking redheaded bitch!! I screamed inside my head before turning and storming right up the stairs and into my bedroom. I slam my bedroom door roughly and groan loudly.

Finally after several hours of pacing around my room, Esme peeks into my room with a sad smile. She walks over to me and wraps her arms motherly around me, hugging me tightly.

"Don't worry Emmett, we'll find Yvette." She smiled brightly and Edward peeks into the room, a smirk on his face.

"I picked up Victoria's scent somewhere on the border of the territory. We're all heading out." He mumbled before blurring outside with Esme and the rest of our family. I crack my knuckles and blur downstairs and straight into the woods.

Everyone was standing still, looking around and spread out. My shoulders were risen and held an intimidating look to my body. Everyone's eyes and ears were searching for any sign of Victoria until I suddenly got a whiff of the gorgeous angelic smell of my mate. Edward grips my bicep and looks at me with dangerous eyes.

"Victoria is wearing Yvette's shirt, trying to draw you out." He growls at me and gently let's go. Suddenly Alice called out.

"To the left!"

And we all burst out sprinting.

Edward was obviously the fastest out of us all and lead the group. Victoria's hair flowed beyond her rushing body. Jasper manages to cut her off and tries jumping at her, but she leaps into the air. He hits the ground but I charge after her.

Fury burned throughout my veins as I used my vampire speed even faster. She glanced back a giant grin as I reached towards her hair. This damn vampire bitch was only a little faster than me. The river ran besides us and just as my fingers curled around a piece of her hair, she leaps to the werewolves side. Carlisle sprints to me before I could jump and put a hand on my torso.

"They have to get her now." He mumbled as two giant wolves burst from the treeline and chase her down the Riverside. We all follow quickly on the other side, while glancing at the red head being chased.

Victoria leaps over the river to our side and i charge her once more. She runs faster as I began to ignore everyone's yells to stop me. Tue only thing I could hear was Yvette's painful scream and her bloody body in my head like a horrible nightmare. Victoria leaps over the river and i jump after her without a single train of thought. Only rage.

Paul's wolf form slams into me and makes my body ragdoll into the cold river. I quickly get up as my chest heaved heavily and my teeth were grit. I noticed Victoria's grin from a tree branch and then she disappeared. That bitch will pay for what she did to Yvette! I tried going around Paul but he followed everyone of my moves.
