Apollos' Pov/Shade
Ah. She fell for it.
I walk her into the ballroom, watching for any danger.
She seems content, but uneasy about me.
I smile, my white wings folded in polietly.
The song "Stay" by Miley Cyrus begins to play, and I coax her onto the dance floor.
We begin to dance, and see a few of our students while we dance.
I try to be light on my feet, borrowing stealth from the tiger, leapord, and bobcat.
I try to stay calm while dancing, but butterflies are loose.
I try to lock them up, but they soon turn into huge moths.
I feel my wings turning blue.
Embarrassed. Scared.
I force white into my wings.
I smile, but it barely covers my nervousness.
What's wrong with me?
She asks, "Something wrong, Shade?"
I smile, warmth returning to my heart, "No."
She looks at me sideways.
She suddenly trips.
Come on.
I catch her, and lean her right way up.
My glove falls to the floor, and I freeze.
I grab my glove, and shove it back on.
Libby exclaims, "Your hand!"
I shush her, trying to keep her quiet.
I growl, "What about it?"
She simply stares at the gloved hand.
Stupid curse.
Ever since prison, my force shift has only occured on eclipses. Not six days before.
What now? If I turn wolf I'll be thrown out.
I feel a horseness covers my throat.
I mumble, "I need a drink. Be right back."
I grab a drink, but the hoarseness is still there.
I go back, hoping I can postpone my shift.
She'e never forgive me.
I twirl her, and we waltz around the room.
I forget my curse, and focus on my dance partner.
We waltz around, quietly.
I sense a shift in the mood of the room.
It hold a curious air now.
I look around, and realize that we're in a ring.
I simply dance her around, and everyone joins back in.
I shift a bit, and look up at the big stain glass window. In it, an image of a king, a white dragon, a wolf, and a big full moon Eclipse.
I look back at Lib, who's looking at me with kindness.
I try to sort her  mind out through her eyes, but it doesn't work so well.
I hear a country style song come on, and a smile tugs at my face.
Libby looks at me, almost afraid of what I'm about to do.
I begin to dance quicker, and she keeps up.
We keep dancing, in a sea of motion and masks.

I sense person behind me.
I spin Libby, and check who it is.
LANCE?
He smiles his mischievous "I'm up to no good" grin, and takes off.
Libby asks, "Who was that, Shade?"
I reply, "Old friend."
She nods, and we resume our dance.
Soon, the smell of food catches my nose.
Ohhhh...
Libby taps my shoulder, and points behind her.
I look back, and Lance is dancing behind us.
What ever, Lance.
I keep dancing with Libby, not wanting to give my identity away by conversing with Lance.

Soon, the supper bell tolls, and we hear the music change.
I set my arm on her shoulders, and we walk to supper.
I ask as we line up for the buffet, "Libby. after this is all said and done, maybe wanna get together at..."
I get a death look, and she walks off.
I hear Lance choking on his coffee.
I walk over to his table, and sit down.
My wings grow into the blood red that scares the world away.
I feel my DSP (Dark Shifter Powers) changing my appearance.
I feel the spikes return, and my knives are all back in the fingerless gloves.
I rest my head in my hands, and stare at the white plastic table.
Lance comes, and sits beside me.
His suit has a wet splotch, from choking on his coffee.
A familiar head is on my lap.
Shade, the real Shade, has his head on my lap.
I stroke him, tears rolling down my face.
Lance stays silent, unsure what to say.
Sharon trots over, and I stare up at her.
Lance looks at her, with the helpless look he gave me the day Pandora got herself stuck between Loki and the doorway.
I sigh, and look down at Shade.
He whispers to me, "The eclipse may start soon. If we can't win over Libby, we should leave before..."
I nod.
Sharon attempts to comfort me, "She thinks your a twin. Your calm casual is one, this is the other. She refers to you as Good Wint, and Evil Wint. That's probably why she was so upset by your asking her out."
Now it's my turn to choke on coffee.
I look at her horrified, and ask, "Is it really that bad?"
Sharon makes no eye contact.
Black fear grips my heart, turning my wings black and outfit a very dark colour.
Sharon breaks all eye contact.
Eyes. The eyes.
I walk off, earning stares of horror.
I find a mirror, and sigh in defeat.
I can't help it.
My eyes are a bright red, with orbs of black.
Lovely.
I try to fix them, and it works to change them gold again.
I manage to disable the eye colour thing, becuase it's really creepy apparently.

I find my friends and my wolf and sit down.
Sharon manages to make eye contact, relieved about my eyes being golden again.
I hear Pandora warble, "If she can't reconize your heart, she doesn't deserve you."
I sigh, "It doesn't work that way, bud."
I tell them I'm headed outside.
They nod, and tell me to be safe.
I shake my head, and begin to walk to the doors.
I hear a familiar laugh.
I slip through the crowd, silently.
I see Libby laughing with Robert.
Purple lights my wings like a lava lamp.
Then, they turn into ying-yang wings.
I turn, my cloak flowing.
Libby catches sight of my flowing cloak, and keeps laughing... almost louder.
I look at the door. I focus my life at getting out.
I say my goodbyes, and disappear.
I call Shade, and he turns tattoo.
It's almost time.
I dash out, and Lance seems to know why I need to leave now.
I hear Libby calling me to wait.
I run faster, and make a bug mistake.
I trip, and roll down the stairs.
My healing powers keep me safe.
My mask breaks in half, and I keep running.
Libby'll find the shard, but I could care less.
She'll never catch me now.
I spring onto Pandora, and bump her to fly.
A fire burns in my heart, and a river of sadness overflows in my head.
My wings tuck in, and disappear.
For a secound or two, my powers glitch.
I turn into me from seven years ago.
Then, I'm normal again.
We take off, and head home.
I get out of my saddle, and walk onto Pandoras' back.
I lay on my back on her back, and stare at the stars.
The overall feeling of calm washes over me as I turn wolf.
I whisper, "She's forgotten."

We land at home, or Otices, and I walk to the living room.
Otice looks concerned.
I climb onto the couch, and flop down in defeat.
My bond mark glows like a lanten, lighting the room.
Otice asks, "What's wrong, Apollo?"
Groan.
He sighs, "It's Libby isn't it?"
I nod.
He sighs again, and we sit in silence.
He notices my wolf form, and waljs away.
Great. I'm alone in here now.
