So much stuff to pack, what should I take? I should only take what I need. The students that have the William scholarship have been offered a trip to England, as a treat for getting good grades. I finished packing and my parents then drove me to the airport.
My mom had blessed me and was now saying what she always says when I have to go somewhere that she can't follow, "Be a good girl, never forget your roots, nor your family's past".
I said my goodbyes and was off to suffer the countless hours in an airplane from New Jersey to England. There were three in total students on this trip plus one adult. After hours and hours of boredom we finally landed and when I was in my hotel room I layed flat on my bed allowing my consciousness to slowly slip away.
I woke up from being shaken by an annoying Jasmine. Jasmine: 18 years old, Asian, short, flirty, and very chatty. I was actually having a really interesting dream about hot chocolate, comic books, cowgirls, and cellphones. Quite strange but still interesting.
I groaned, "What do you want Jasmine?"
She scoffed loudly at me, "Girl! We are here for one whole month and I'm not about to let you spend all of that time cooped up in this room, sleeping! Let's at least go shopping".
"No" I responded immediately. Everyone knows better than to go clothes shopping with Jasmine, you might as well pack all of your things and move into the store with her because once she's in you have to forcefully get her out. Plus shopping for clothes sometimes bores me.
"But Cielo!" she wined. It's funny how she's older than me by a year but I'm the one that makes the rules and sets the boundaries.
I sighed, "Didn't we pass a Starbucks on our way to the hotel? Isn't it just a few blocks away from here?"
"Yay!" she squealed understanding where I was going with this.
I got out of bed, made myself presentable, told the adult we were going out for drinks, and made my way out the door in my leather jacket with Jasmine right by my side.
She ordered her coffee and I ordered a hot chocolate and lemon bread; I love lemony foods and scents. I sat down with my back to the entrance and Jasmine sat across from me with a perfect view of anyone who entered the store. A few seconds passed and then Jasmine began to run her motor mouth.
"Oh my god! A hott guy just walked in", then she gasped, "There's two of them! They're twins!"
I added sugar to my hot chocolate and slowly drank it as I ate my bread. She obviously continued to fan girl but I've already experienced this before so I ignored her. Out of no where she shut up which caught my attention, so I followed her gaze. The twins were smiling and walking over to us, great, now I have to deal with Jasmine trying to flirt with strangers . . . again.
"Hi" one of the two said, "Is it ok if we sit here?"
I looked around the café and saw multiple empty tables. I raised an eyebrow, "Why don't yo-" I tried to say but Jas stuffed a piece if bread in my mouth.
She was giving them her million dollar smile, "Of course".
The guy who had asked to sit with us sat next to Jas while the other twin sat next to me. He smiled and extended his hand, "Hi, I'm Finn". He seemed shyer than his brother and smelled like something, something familiar.
I shook his hand but refused to smile, "Cielo".
The twin next to Jas smiled flirtly and waved, "I'm Jack".
Jasmine smiled and then winked at both of them, "I'm Jasmine!"
I know that this is a bit boring but it's only the first chapter and I wanted you guys to get a feel of the characters. I hope that you guys like it.
