Double the fun

Chapter 2

"Well I'm done so I'm leaving" I said looking at Finn signaling him to move so that I could get out of the booth. He did move so I got out but he stayed standing with me with his hands stuffed in his pockets.

"Come on CC, let's hang out with these guys" Jas whined.

I raised an eyebrow, "And what do you expect us to do?"

She smiled from ear to ear, "We could go shopping".

Jack nodded, "Sounds fun".

I internally groaned. We went to some store and I just sat there suffering. I then looked out the window and noticed that there was a book store across the street. I told Jasmine that I was going there and left her alone with the twins. She's smart she'll survive, it's not like I'm leaving her defenseless or something.

I walked in and couldn't help smiling, I love book stores. I walked up to the comic book section, picked out a Justice League comic, and sat on the floor leaning my back against the book shelf and beginning to read.

I don't really know how much time passed by until I heard Jack's voice saying from beside me "You like comic books?"

I looked up at him, he was holding a shopping bag with the clothing store's logo on it. I smiled at him, "Yeah".

He looked surprised for a moment and then smiled himself, "Well so do I, I really like Wonder Woman from the Justice League".

I really couldn't help smiling now because this was one if my favorite topics, "I like the Flash and Green Lantern".

He sat down next to me making himself comfortable, "Why?"

"Well, because they're funny and I really like funny guys", I laughed and then asked "Why do you like Wonder Woman?"

He was smiling and his gaze never left my eyes, "Because she is a strong woman and won't let anyone push her around, but still has a kind heart that's reflected through her eyes, her smile . . . her laugh".

Why do I get the feeling we're not talking about superheros anymore?  He was right there next to me, looking down at me with that smile of his, and I had to crane my neck just a bit to be able to maintain eye contact. He was so close that I could feel his minty breathe on my face, and was slowly getting closer. He wasn't looking at my eyes anymore but my lips. I didn't dare move afraid that I was misinterpreting the situation or well I don't know why else okay.

I know that this is a really short chapter but the shorter they are the more frequently I can post, the first chapter was really the only one that NEEDED to be long. Will Cielo let Jack kiss her? Will someone find them before they get the chance to lip lock? If so, who? Stay tuned for the next chapter!
