Edge of Goodbye ✶ Star Trek '09

And it Begins...

Chasity was sitting on her mamas bed playing with her toys quietly, her mama and daddy were off doing something that didn't involve her. Her daddy slept in a different room, but Chasity didn't mind. She loved both of her parents equally. Chasity got up and went to her toy box to get something else but she heard the door open as she thought it was her mom, Chasity runs out of the room and saw a strange girl standing in the room.

"Who are you?" questioned the young toddler looking up at her.

The strange girl smirked and replies. "You're coming with me, little brat." She then walks up to Chasity but she screams trying to get away but the girl grabbed her quickly ran off before someone showed up.

Hearing a scream I was really used too, I got up feeling really uneasy. I began to run, run quick to the room in which my daughter resided in. When I got there the door opened and I didn't hear her movements. I quietly walk in with my phaser in my hand while my hair fell over my shoulder and it hit my stomach, I could feel it tickle my arm as it fell. My hazel eyes look around quickly and cautiously, I go into my room pointing my phaser around but I didn't see my little girl.

"Chasity? Honey, are you here?" I question loud enough for her to hear. When I didn't hear anything, I began to feel worried. "Honey, this isn't funny. Where are you sweetie?" I continue but still didn't hear her. I put my phaser away and feel tears prickling against the corners of my eyes. I go to the comm and press it. "Captian..."

"Ms. Hale, what's going on?" I heard James respond to me. As I choked a sob, I reply with.

"Chasity is gone... I can't find her..."

Silence was heard on his end, and I sob quietly. "I'll be right there..."

Then, I land on my knees and begin to sob. Who would steal my baby girl? I put my hands to my face and sobbed into them. What happened to her...?

I look up when I feel something beep, I wipe my tears as I stand up walking towards the sound. When I found it, I clicked it and a hologram of my sister popped up.

"You must be wondering where your daughter is, yes? Well, I have news for you." She said showing me Chasity who looked absolutely terrified. "Me and mother have her and if you want her, you must do something for us..."

As I listened, my eyes began to tear up again and I sob as the hologram ended.

What do I do?

When I heard my door open, I hear shuffling of footsteps heading towards my room, I look back at James. James saw how devastated I looked and he walked towards me.

"Ari, you have to tell me what happened..."

"James, I..." I began and choked back another sob. "It was my mother and sister. They're out to get me and they knew my weakness..."

"How did they get here without us knowing?"

I shook my head back and forth. "I don't know, James. But I want her back."

"And we will, tell me what we need to do."

A/N; ITS BAAAAAACK~ I am finally getting into writing this series again and guess what? I am planning the 5 series and it will follow the new movie whilst this one is original. Haha! I hope you enjoy this chapter with how short this is. I hope to write more with much longer chapters. Enjoy!!
