Yoomi POV

I guess the saying 'nothing lasts forever' is pretty legit.

Everything eventually comes to an end right?

Maybe that's why I stopped hoping that it would last.

Because when you say 'we'll be friends for a long time' is a total lie.

Flashback

"Jungkook-ah." the person to my right said.
"Hmm?" Jungkook hummed.

"Do you think you're popular?"

"I don't know, I wouldn't say that I am."

I looked down at the next math question while the two people beside me started talking.

And when I mean two people, I mean Jungkook and this annoying guy on my right.

"Do you want to be popular?"

"That would be nice."

"I see."

Nothing else was said assuming that they went back to work.

"Hey, Yoomi." Jungkook nudged.

I looked up and over to him, wondering what he wanted.

"Is this how you do the question?"

I saw his answer.

"Yeah."

"Ok thanks."

I didn't feel like replying as we returned doing whatever we were doing before.

I opened the doors to outside the school, music playing in my ears as I started walking in the direction of my house. I saw you (Jungkook) waiting for a ride home, talking with some other guy but I continued going my way.

"It won't stop" bye Sevyn Streeter ft. Chris Brown started playing when I was near my house.

I went to my room and changed into shorts and an oversized t-shirt before turning on my WiFi. I went downstairs to grab some water before going back to my room.

I turned on my phone and went onto YouTube to watch some videos for a while. I didn't have homework today since I finished them in class or I didn't get any to begin with.

After a while I started reading while listening to music before I became tired and let sleep take over me.

I woke up, sun still up as my ear buds were still in my ear playing "Firetruck(소방차)" by NCT 127.

Pulling the ear bud cord from my phone and stopping my music, I sat up and went downstairs.

I went onto my computer and started doing whatever. I had no agenda for the rest of the day expect sleep but I can't sleep forever even I wish I could sometimes.

I was on Facebook and saw you online so I decided to message you(Jungkook).

l.y.m : hey

You didn't see it right away but was still online.

After a while, it became Active 2 minutes ago.

I sighed as I signed off.

Why do I even bother?

Its not like you'll ever reply.

It's not like you'll suddenly be interested in talking to me.

It's not like you'll suddenly be interested in hearing what I have to say.
