I looked over to you in case I was hallucinating.

People started entering the classroom as we went back to focus on class starting.

School ended and I went to my locker to get my things to go home. Closing the door, I secured it with a lock. I walked my way to the doors of the school and opened them, letting myself through. I walked in the direction of my house as I heard you say goodbye to your friends.

I stopped to tie my shoe as I saw you walk by me. Once I finished I turned up the music as I continued walking.

I waited at the intersection as the light was flashing. You stood there, ear buds in you ears too but I couldn't hear anything except the song. I wonder what song you're listening to. Maybe we're listening to the same one.

The light for walking turned on so I started crossing the street, you doing the same. When I got to the curb I went my way until I felt someone's hand on my arm.

I look up, taking one ear bud out of my ear before focusing my attention on you. You took one out of your ears too.

"Bye Yoomi." you smiled.

"Uh bye. See you in class?"

"Yeah."

I turned back as you walked past the bus stop near my house. I know you didn't live in my neighbourhood so I assumed you took the bus.

As I walked, I wondered why you were talking to me so much today.
