Wanting to hesitate so I do not meet Laura's icy gaze, I walked over to the door, smoothing out my bright tangerine dress. I wrapped my hand around the doorknob, second thoughts scrolling through my mind. If I didn't open the door within the next thirty counts, mum would become quite cross. Mentally regretting it, I opened the door. The flash of blonde made me start to scowl.

Laura was dressed in her usual pink gown. Nothing quite new. Her bright blonde was tied into a perfect braid which was pulled over her shoulder. "Tristen," Laura said as cold as her eyes. "Laura," I replyed, adding an equal amount of coldness. She made me want to puke. "Why don't you come in," I said choking on my words. Her bright pink aura made me want to vomet all over her skirt.

She entered like she was the queen. "Disgusting," I muttered under my breath. "What did you say?" Laura said quickly turning to face me. "I said nothing," I lied. Laura crossed her arms and glared at me. "You said something, I heard it." She said this while stomping her foot on the ground in a childish way. "Then, I guess you must be crazy, 'cause I said nothing." I lied again, this time with much more confidence. "Am not!" Laura shouted. "You definatly said something, don't lie to me!" Her voice has full of anger, I couldn't help but giggle just a bit. "Tell me! Tell me what you said!" Laura persisted. "No." I said looking Laura in the eye. "I'm going to tell daddy!" Laura shouted. As if on que, Bore walked in.

"Hello, Bore." I greeted, still agitated by Laura. "Hello, Tristen," He replyed snootily, his nose in the air. He looked down on me, I smoothed my skirt nervously. I hated when people did that, and after a few seconds I felt positively miniscule. I cleared my throat, trying to choke down my nervous intentions. "Come on in....." I say softly, before moving to the side so his large frame could fit through the small door. Agreeing to my words, he slides in. His dark eyes traveling around the room, taking in every little detail. At the sound of the door closing, my mother walked in. "Bore, it's lovely to see you again," Mum said, going in for a hug. "Like wise," He replied, wrapping his hands around her and pulling her into an embrace. Laura peered over at me, shooting her icy gaze in my direction.

"What time would you like for me to be back?" Bore said, drawing away mum. "Whatever's best for you," She replied with a smile. Bore nodded with agreement then left. Laura walked around our house with a disgusted look. "It's so... quaint?" She said. It was obviously not her type. I loved her anger. "If you really want to be disgusted, I suggest you go in Guy's room," I sneered, being completely honest. "Funny how you think that I'd like to roam your.. unsuitable domain..." Laura scoffed. What does she want? A 'five-star' bedroom with a silk canopy hanging over it? No dice, sunshine. "We cleaned it.... that's good enough..." I muttered under my breath. "That's NOT good enough! This place should be so clean, that I can see my reflection!" Shee seethed, her eyes glaring sharply at me, as if she was trying to look deep into my soul. "Listen princess, I understand that you're utterly obsessed with yourself, but we're not cleaning anymore tonight." Laura clenched her teeth and took deep heavy breaths. "Well, I'm not going to do!" She shouted. "Maight as well!!" To get her to stop demanding me to clean, I quickly spun on my heels and walked away. Already, I could hear her ordering me to come back to her lazy, helpless self.
