CHAPTER 01 : SURPRISE

The human mind is truly the scariest thing of all, we love surprises but we still end up asking about it to the person we are receiving it from. Surprises aren't always what you expect, well after all they are surprises.

It was a beautiful morning, something everybody looks forward to but a girl in her early 20's, a beautiful India girl short heighted and fair skinned with long black hair that reached down her waist and big doe shaped black eyes, was in a haste. Being late for a flight can get anyone into a giffy and she was just another human being.

She was a bit too excited and a little nervous at the same time because, after 4 long years, she was going back to her hometown, Mumbai. She was also a little anxious because she was not at all ready to face the wrath of her best friend who was waiting for her from the past 20 minutes at the airport.

She quickly wore a pair of ripped denim jeans with a beautiful red top, paired with matching accessories and black heels, she headed towards the airport, dragging her big suitcase and her handbag along.

At the airport,

The girl reached the airport and strode near the waiting area. She back hugged a girl, the same age as her, she was yet another Indian beauty with an olive skin tone and hair that went slightly down her shoulders, she had almond shaped black eyes with sharp features, who was busy reading a romance novel.

"How can someone be so late? Did you again forget to set an alarm, Nandini !?", the girl asked in a taunting way.

"What do I do, Navya? You know how I am, I can't wake up this early in the morning, Okay? Now can we just proceed?", Nandini exclaims.

"Wow! You were the one who was late and now you are only asking me to hurry up. You are one rare piece.", Sighed Navya.

Both the girls headed towards the check-in counter. Nandini reached for her handbag to dig for her tickets when she suddenly collided with a man. He was a muscular tall handsome man dressed in an ironed business suit.

"Are you blind or something? Can't you look straight and walk? Bloodys stupid people, don't know how to act in public places.", Shouted the man.

"I'm really very sorry, but at least you can be a little polite and kind. You are so rude and arrogant. Bloody rich spoilt brat." She angrily spat.

"Oh please,get lost! Because of you I'm getting late.", He barked. The man rushed out angrily, muttering cruses under his breath.

Navya called Nandini asking her to hurry up. So, putting aside her anger she moved towards the check-in counter and completed the formalities.

After completing all the formalities Navya and Nandini both got seated in their respective seats in the airplane.

"So, here we come Mumbai!",Exclaimed Nandini in joy and excitement .

"Nandini calm down, we are still in London. I don't know what will happen to you once we reach Mumbai, you will certainly turn insane.", teased Navya.

"Navya! Don't spoil my excitement. It's my hometown after all. I will meet amms (grandmother), mom, dad and my friends."she answered.

During the entire flight Nandini talked nonstop about Mumbai while Navya just listened to her with a bored look on her face.

Finally, after a very tiring flight,they finally reached Mumbai.

Nandini had planned to surprise her family, so, she didn't inform anyone about her arrival. She was so excited that she practically dragged Navya to the cab, to meet the first victim of her surprise.

"Here I come My Friend ! Let's see how much shocked or surprised you get." She smirked.
