Chapter 4

•Janice•

"Hi, my name is Janet, I will be your waitress for the day. Can I start you guys off with a drink" Our waitress from Denny's, said with a beautiful bright smile.

"Yes, can I get a Sprite and Anna, what do you want?"

"Ummm, a Green Rocket with a vanilla milkshake!" Anna replied with a huge smile. The waitress smiled at Anna and wrote down our drinks

"I'll be right back with your drinks" Janet said smiling and walking away.

I smiled back. I starred at Annalise while she was coloring and singing along to Count On Me, by Bruno Mars. Gosh she reminds me so much of Jacob. The hair, the Smile, everything! Just looking at her makes one side of me miss Jacob. And all the things we had. But then another side builds so much anger. I dunno whats wrong with me.

"You can count on me like One, Two, Three and I'll be there-"

My phone rang taking me out of my thoughts and Anna looking up at me. I grabbed the phone out of her hands. It was Savanna. I swiped my finger to answer it.

'Convo'

Janice: "Hello?"

Savanna: "Yo! Where y'all at?"

Janice: "Denny's"

Savanna: "Really!? Ughh bring me something!!"

Janice: "The Usual?"

Savanna: "Yaass!!"

Janice: "Alright. Love ya"

Savanna: "K. love ya too"

I hung up and went to check my facebook. Janet came back with our drinks.

"Now, what would you guys love to eat?" She asked. Anna was the first one to say what she wanted.

"Can I get chicken nuggets with fries?" Anna said extremely happy. Janet smiled again and wrote it down.

"And for you?" "Umm can i get a 2 Bacon Burgers. One for here and the other one to go" I finished. She wrote everything down and took our menus. "I'll be right back with your food" With that, she left.

As Anna grabbed my phone and played on it, my eyes wondered around. I saw a waiter coming with a group of people. As they were walking by, there was a guy with an afro, another with braids, and- Wait. I looked closer and saw Chresanto and Jacob and Rayan and Craig. No no Noo! I mentally yelled. They sat in the table right next to mine. Great.

They were with a woman. As they all sat down, they began to read their menus. Just incase we would make eye contact, I looked away. A few minutes later, I saw someone get up from the corner of my eye. I glanced over at the table and saw that woman get up and leave. I looked farther past her and Jacob looking right at me. Shit😶•_•

"Keisha! Im tired!! I say while there were no more girls here. We were here for 5 hours! Just signing autographs. Im starving and tired. I texted my sister to ask her if Janice was aright, but she never answered back. So I just didn't mind it. After he went chasing after them and didn't get a chance to talk, he walked back over with Ray, and never said a word. He kept his head low. I patted his back and asked if he was alright. He just nodded. No he's not.

Prod, and Ray are both hungry and tired. Keisha glanced at us and asked us if we wanted to go to Denny's or Ihop.

"Denny's" We said in unison. She nodded and told us to get out stuff together. Thats exactly what we did. There were still shoppers, but not for us.

We got there. As we got out, I stretched and yawn. Ray did the same. We walked in and saw a waitress walk up to us. "Just 5?" She asked. Keisha nodded and grabbed 5 menus and walked us toward a table. As we sat down, we all immediately picked up our menus and looked at them.

A woman came to our table to take our drinks. I ordered a coke, Prince ordered a lemonade, Prod ordered a Coke,, and Ray ordered a Sprite. Keisha ordered a coffee. She wrote down our drink and walked away.

Since I already knew what I wanted, I put it down and looked around. My eyes landed on this cute little girl. With really pretty curly hair playing on a phone. Then when I glance at the person right in front of her, it was a really pretty girl. She was- wait, JANICE!?! I looked closer right at her and yep, it was her.

I tapped on Prince and whispered. "Ayo, look at that girl right next to me"

"Roc, I'm not in the mood to look at girls right now" He whispered back.

"Nigga, just look" I whispered.

He picked up his head and glanced directly at her and his eyes widened.

"I have to pick up this phone call I will be right back" Keisha announced she got up and walked through the door. Once she stood up and disappeared in the crowd, Prince stands up and walks over to Janice.

"Nigga! What are you doing!?" I whispered yelled.

"Making things straight" Prince says getting closer to her.

*Kevin Hart's voice* ITS ABOUT TO GO DOWN! I mentally think.
