Mom passed away 4 years ago in a car crash . I was in the car when it happened , I was only 14 at the time and a freshman in high school. I never thought I would be spending high school without my mom.
She always helped me when I needed someone to talk to . Yes I had Julia as a friend at that time , but you see I don't trust anyone anymore . I was betrayed by one of my best friend in 7th grade , I told her a huge secret and she spilled it out to the whole . I was left with no friends until 8th grade when I met Julia. We have been best friends since then .
Here I am , sitting in front of my moms grave.

"Your middle name is Rose?" I must of been thinking out loud. I turn around to see Brandon standing behind me . What is wrong with him ? I ignore him and look back at my moms grave stone .
"Your giving me the silent treatment now ?" He sits next to me on the ground . I ignore him of course . "Look I'm sorry ." He says .
I don't even dare to look at him. " and I don't care , leave ."
He groans , "I said I'm sorry okay ?! "
I stand up and walk away . He doesn't follow me , good thing . When I hear a beep on my phone . I get my phone out to see a text from Brandon . How did he get my number ??
Brandon- Look Im sorry okay ? I didn't mean what I said
Me- leave me alone brandon
Brandon - no can do apple sauce
Somehow that brought a smile to my face , but then reality comes back .
Me - bye brandon

" Brandon is your project partner ?!" Julia screams at me , I've been repeating myself for about half an hour.
"He's a jerk ." I scoff .
"he's hot ." She winks. I roll my eyes .
Julia and I are walking to lunch , we sit in the far corner. Our school is very organized when it comes to lunch, jocks sit with jocks , divas sit with divas , geeks sit with geeks , and so on , me and Julia don't sit at any table we sit at two abandoned desks . Far away from all the drama.
"How did you meet him ? " Julia ask bringing the topic up , again .
"He's a creep ." I say , " When I got out of Jace's house -" I get cut off.
" Did you and Jace you know ? Make love to each other ." She winks then bursts out laughing . She doesn't know that Jace and I broke up .
"No . I went to his house to break up with him , after i found out he was cheating on me ." I sigh .
"HE CHEATED ON YOU ?" Julia screams catching people's attention .
"shh, yes he did ." I pull Julia to sit back down .
"With who ?" She asks.
"If I knew who I would tell you ," My eyes start tearing up.
"Shh don't cry ." She pulls me into a tight hug. I don't know what I would do with out her .
