Flashback:

I had no idea that I would be swarmed upon arrival to the main commerce area. Apparently word of the way I had saved the beautiful goddess that haunted my dreams had spread like wild fire in this city. I had to run from an amorous group of females, of course lead by none other than Aphrodite herself.

I sat in the same garden where I met her. But she did not show, and I had no idea what to do.

During the Giant War:

I didn't intend to fight in this battle, seeing as the gods could win with the help of their demigod children. It doesn't always work out the way you plan though. Gaia, my "lovely" aunt decided to show up in full presence. I knew they stood no chance fighting her, if they couldn't fight me.

She was the second primordial made, after my mom of course. She was powerful, and the whole planet was...well, her. This would be a battle that I wasn't even sure I could win. Gaia was crafty.

She undoubtedly had a trick up her sleeve, especially since she had to know I was here, after killing her other children, the Titans. She wanted revenge, and she was going to take it through bloodshed. I had no choice but to fight.

"Aunt, please stop this foolishness! They are your grandchildren and have proven they are worthy of the right to rule. Call off your children the Giants and lets just go back to how things were. If anything, take the bloodshed from me. I killed the Titans. I murdered your son Kronos and almost every other Titan shortly after.

"You know the Olympians just wanted a chance to live that Kronos refused to let happen. They fought for freedom from that."

Gaia looked at me with hatred. "No nephew. They deserve this. They shall not rule after fighting my children! And you will suffer the worse fate! Tartarus will have fun with you once more, and this time you will not be leaving. It will be for eternity," she cackled.

I sighed, "So be it, Aunt Gaia. We will have a war to remember then." I turned to the gods. "I need you to take on the Giants. You will have to use a demigod to help you kill them. They are more powerful than the Titans. I would, but then I would surely lose to my aunt. Even now, while I know I'm more powerful, I'm unsure if I can win. She is crafty as a snake and will undoubtably make this a hard won battle."

They nodded and quickly brought forth their chosen demigod champions.
