"Stephan, it's Saskia White from Red Bull Racing. Daniel and I are up the hospital with Nico, he's had a bit of an accident," I said, watching as Lizzie was wheeled away in another direction. All I knew was that it was away from the A 'n' E department and Paul hadn't broken skin on skin contact with his wife as she looked to be in terrible pain. "He has...um... stood on some glass and he's getting it looked at now. You need to come over to the Dalum Austin Hospital as soon as you can."

I felt my hands begin to shake as I fanned my face, trying to think clearly. It was hot in this hospital and now I felt sick to my core. Sick and fast becoming very clammy.

"Call me back on..." and I recalled my number before hanging up and walking back into where Nico was being seem to.

The curtain was drawn around him and Daniel was sat on a chair adjacent, the palm of his hand resting on his forehead. This was the first Accident and Emergency I had been to where there wasn't four hour waits. Just as well.

When I approached he looked up, instantly frowning.

"Sas, are you okay?" he asked, concerned but stifling a yawn nonetheless. This man could read me like a book or if not, better.

"No," I whispered, accepting his open arms as she stood up to wrap his protective arms around me tightly. "I just saw Lizzie and Paul."

"Huh?" arms went back to his side for a brief moment, in extreme shock. His body had become ridged. "Who...why?"

Shaking my head, I clawed Daniels t-shirt and he clasped his arms around me once more, "It was her," I whispered.

"Not doubting you," Daniel replied, rubbing my back.

We were broken apart a few seconds later as Dan's phone chimed- it was Paul.

"Paul, is everything alright- ok...Yeah...she gonna be alright?...No I understand...hold tight." And that was it. That was that phonecall done.

Daniel exhaled, cracking his knuckles. He hated the sound it made but he tended to do it when he was nervous or worried, which was a bit of a rarity considering the grand scheme of things, unless a helicopter was somehow involved.

His expression became deeply worried and it was then that he finally said something after a period of time that had felt like forever.

"Okay, Sas, Lizzie is gonna be fine," Daniel stated calmly, glaring at me so I would focus. "She was feeling very dizzy and then had a fall, so they decided to get her checked out. For the baby's sake."

One half of me felt relieved but the other part was just panicking more and more. Lizzie might be alright but would the little human growing inside her be okay? One could only hope and hope and hope.

"Baby okay?" I stuttered, wiping my sweaty palms on the fronts of my leather leggings. They looked good enough for partying but they were making my temperature shoot sky high even more now that the circumstances had changed.

"Sit down," Daniel whispered, guiding me into the chair he had been sat in a few moments ago. "She's getting checked out now, but Paul sounded calm so we should be too. He'll ring when he knows what's happening."

"Promise?"

"Yes."

"AH YOU SHITHEAD!" A scream came from the cubicle and we couldn't help but chuckle- it was a nervous one.

I prayed that Lizzie would be okay.

The key word being ok.

"Nico, mate, are you alright?" Daniel called out, taking a step closer to where the sound was coming from. There was a second voice that neither of us had heard before until now. They sounded calm.
