Shelby's pov
I find myself in another room. I look around and see a long walk of obstacles. And again in the wall next to me with the same golden gates. I slowly realize that's where if I go there, it'll be over. As in, my life. I feel the strong urge to go there, just to make it easier. So right now I just sit and take it all in. "It's your choice, Shelby" I hear I lift my head and look around "Please come back I miss you" I jump up I hear Max tears of joy fill my eyes I see 10 obstacles ahead I have so much determination the first one is simple jump 2 feet from place to place 2-9 obstacles increased by a 1 ft jump until the last the last jump was increased by 15 feet. I have lost all determination. Max's voice is getting smaller by the minute. The more my eyes fill with hot tears. I'm not ready to give out. I have such a life a head of me. I can't just throw that all away. "SHELBY COME TOWARDS MY VOICE" I hear, it's so loud it startles me. I listen to Max and follow his voice. I run off the plat form into the portal. Did I mention there's nothing underneath the portal? Only a deep dark void. "SHELBY" I hear Max scream. I rush off the platform into the portal. I made it! And now I see a door. No lock it must be easy to open right? Wrong. I barley open it up an inch and hear Max "Here we go just a bit more... open your eyes just a few more centimeters baby!" Max aww he's so sweet. I must be opening my eyes I push even stronger and start screaming "NOT TODAY" I screech I finally open the door "NOT TODAY"
Max's pov
I hear Shelby screaming I can't make out the words but all of a sudden her eyes pop open she blinks, then turns her head towards me "Max?" She asks "Shelby? Shelby! Oh how I missed you so much" I say. She looks confused "What, what just happened wasn't I just on the couch?" She still has the mark from the oxygen cord around her face. They took it off 2 minutes ago "Baby, you went into a coma. But I'm glad you're ok now" I smile and lift her up. Her face lights up. "I love you Max" she says "I love you to Shelby" I say with passion. "I guess this means we're dating" She says with a vibrant white smile "Your late 3 months but I guess so" I say with a laugh and hug her tight. My girlfriend isn't dead she very much alive. We're ready for what's next to come
