#53 Your first pet together:

Harry:

You and Harry walked into a pet store expecting to leave with a kitten, until you started checking out the more exotic pets and the two of you ended up falling head over heels for a talking parrot of all things!! After discussing pet names later that night you couldn't agree on a name for the little guy and eventually just let Harry keep the name "Lenny" because it cracked you up to hear the parrot say his new name.

Liam:

An older policeman in your hometown neighborhood recently retired four well trained police dogs and was currently searching for good homes for them to go to. When you mentioned the idea of you and Liam taking one the man happily handed one over to you. She was an older German Shepard and had already been given the name "Sandy". Liam welcomed her in with open arms and she brought the two of you closer together than you'd ever been before.

Louis:

Louis' mother had remembered how the two of you had been discussing getting a pet for your new home you'd just purchased together so when a mysterious litter of calico kittens showed up in a box on her porch the morning before your guys' two year anniversary, she picked out the perfect two and had them get a check up at the vet before buying them collars, food, toys, the whole nine yards, and gifted the adorable twosome to you the next day. You and Louis loved them so much you named them Lilly and Rose, after your favorite flowers.

Niall:

The both of you agreed that you two wanted a pet terribly but knew you were too lazy to take care of it all the time. You came home from work one day surprised as you'd realized that Niall had a window placing cut out in the wall between your kitchen and living area, and had it turned into a small aquarium. It was beautiful and contained dozens of different tropical fish. The two of you spent dinner discussing names for the baby octopus and starfish. Neither one of you really being the creative type when it came to names, both decided on Inky for the octopus and Pentaguy for the starfish.

Zayn:

Zayn knew how passionate you were about animals rights and how you sponsored the humane society so when he heard about someone rescuing a group of four homeless baby bunnies from an old burnt down barn just down the road he immediately volunteered to take them home and raise them as pets. You fell in love with the gray bunny at first sight and Zayn's favorite ended up being the all black one. You named the other two spotted ones Polka and Cadbury. Zayn named his black one Poe and you named the gray one Cirrus. Leave it to you and Zayn to give baby bunnies the most creative oddball names.
