Chapter Five

1 1 1

I smiled at the handsome gentleman lying in my bed, his hair a tousled mess and his body bare. He was still sleeping, his chest rising and falling with every breath. I grinned one last time before rolling off the bed, my feet landing on the floor silently before making my way to the door.

Before leaving the room, I turned back around to get one last look at Will - the most incredible guy I'd ever met. The guy whose body looked like it had been sculpted by God himself. The guy who had such chiseled features, they looked like they might've been carved out of stone. The guy who I had just had sex with. The guy who actually cared.

I sighed, pulling my hair up into a messy bun before walking out into the hallway, silently pulling the door shut behind me before wandering into the kitchen, my feet barely making any noise on the hardwood floors.

My stomach growled as I grabbed a bowl from the cupboard, setting it down on the counter gently before pouring in some Mini Wheats. Another growl as I topped it off with some almond milk, something I had been craving for ages.

But just as I was beginning to lift a spoonful of cereal to my mouth, I felt a set of arms wrap around my waist. But not just any arms. Strong arms.

I gasped as I turned around, only to see that it was Will, his eyes still halfway shut as he looked at me, a smile on his face.

The space between us was gone again, our hearts beating against each other as he gazed down into my eyes, causing me to suddenly forget that I was hungry.

"Good morning, beautiful.", he said with a smile, lifting his hand up to tuck a loose strand of hair behind my ear, his hand lingering behind my ear for a second before finally dropping and grabbing my waist.

"Morning.", I said, our eyes still locked tight on each other, both of us grinning ear to ear.

For a moment, we just stood there, our bodies so close that I could practically hear his thoughts. His warmth was radiating into me, sending chills down my spine. He lifted his hand up to cup my cheek, our eyes still focused on one another as he leaned down, gently planting a kiss on my lips, lingering there for a moment before finally pulling away.

He stared at me, a grin on his face as he wrapped both of his arms around me, causing my heart to palpitate.

"What do you say...we just stay in bed today? You know, just you-", he said, caressing my cheek with his hand. "And me.", he finished, pulling me closer to him before kissing my neck, his breath warm as he whispered against my skin. "What do you think...?"

"That sounds...great.", I replied, trying to slow my breathing.

Being around him made my heart stop. Just being in his presence makes me think that I've died and gone to heaven. A heaven that consisted of rock hard abs and baby blue eyes.

"Great.", he said with a grin, bringing my face up to his, kissing me slowly, his hands grabbing at my waist.

He began to move forward, pushing me backwards towards the living room. We suddenly reached the sofa, where he laid down before pulling me on top of him.

But just as we were about to have some fun, there was a knock on the door. We both groaned as we sat up, exchanging glances before standing up.

"Mail delivery!", a low voice called from outside.

"I'm coming!", I shouted, rolling my eyes before rushing to the door, quickly pulling it open to reveal a man who looked about six feet tall, the outline of his muscles visible through his shirt.

He handed me a few envelopes before dismissing himself, returning to his truck and disappearing down the street.

My eyes scanned the envelopes, reading who they were from. There was a bill from the electric company, a thank you note from Will's sister and...another letter.

My heart sank to my stomach as I ripped open the envelope, removing the piece of paper from it.

Dear Zoe,

I haven't heard back from you. Could it be because you're afraid? Or because you've been too busy nailing your best friend? Either way, you haven't responded. I thought I could trust you. If I can, maybe you should think about keeping your legs closed from now on. Or you and I will have some serious problems. And your little "boyfriend" won't be able to help you...

Sincerely, Nobody

I gasped, letting the letter fall to the floor, my hand clamping over my mouth as I stared at it, my heart beating a mile a minute.

Will came rushing out, a worried look on his face, his eyes practically bulging out of his head.

"What's wrong? What happened?", his hand resting on my shoulder as he stared into my eyes.

Without saying a word, I pointed to the letter, my hand shaking as I tried to hold back the tears.

He picked it up off the floor, scanning the page before looking back up at me, his eyes wider than before.

And as he stared back at me, I couldn't help but repeat the last words this "nobody" had written, bile rising up in my throat.

P.S Your brother's death was no accident. I should know...I was there.

I bet you guys didn't see THAT ONE coming! Aghhh this is so suspenseful! Just writing it is putting me on the edge of my seat. Oh well...I hope you guys are enjoying it! Please vote and comment to let me know what you think :)
