I felt Will's arms pull me closer to him, his heart beating against my back as he nestled his head between my shoulder and the size of my head, his mouth right beside my ear.
"Are you sleeping?", he whispered, his voice light and airy, causing me to grin.
I smiled before rolling over so that I was facing him now, our faces only inches apart.
After reading that letter, I had been crying my eyes out, still replaying the last few words in my head. I should know...I was there. But as soon as Will realized I was upset, he immediately took matters into his own hands.
He had made me an extravagant dinner, and afterwards, we curled up on the couch and watched 50 First Dates, a movie that he had claimed was his favorite.
After being so close to him on the couch, my head resting against his chest that would rise and fall with every breath, I decided that I wanted to do something else. Something more...intimate.
So, we quickly made our way to my bedroom before throwing our clothes into a pile by the corner and crawling under the covers, our bodies entangling with one another, both of our hearts suddenly beating as one.
I smiled as I thought about last night again, my thoughts finally coming to a stand still. I felt like nothing else mattered when I was with him...
"Nope.", I said with a grin, finally answering his question.
"Good.", he said, his lips parting into a smile, revealing his perfect teeth.
He grabbed me by my waist and pulled me close, the gap between us closing as our bodies pressed together, his warmth radiating onto my skin. I could feel his muscles twitch beneath my fingers as I traced the outline of the muscles in his arms, his skin warm to the touch. He smiled against me, his lips pressing against my neck, lingering for a moment before pulling away.
I gazed into his eyes, focusing on the little flecks of gold in his irises before his finally spoke.
"God...you're beautiful.", he said, lifting his hand up and cupping my cheek, his eyes focused intensely on my face as he admired my so-called "beauty".
"And you're the most handsome man I've ever met.", I said with a grin, my cheeks warming up before I buried my face in his chest, my failed attempt at hiding.
I felt his hand wrap around my arm, urging me to look up at him. And as I did so, I fell in love all over again.
I hadn't noticed before, but his hair was a mess on the top of his head, sticking out in all different directions. His eyes were hazed over with sleep, a sign that he most likely wasn't ready to wake up so early. And don't even get me started on the fact that he smelled absolutely incredible, the smell of peppermint and oak radiating off of him.
"You know what I think?", he asked with a smile, lifting my chin up so that our eyes were in direct line with each other.
"Hm?", I mumbled, my hand resting on his bare chest as he spoke.
"I think...we should get a shower.", he said with a grin, his lips parting again to reveal that irresistible smile.
"We?", I asked, suddenly sitting up in the bed.
"Unless you don't want to...", he said, his smile fading away as he frowned.
"No, no, I want to.", I said, grabbing his arm just as he was about to get out of the bed.
He smiled back at me, standing there in silence before grabbing my hand, pulling me towards the bathroom.
I laughed as he kicked the door shut, trapping the two of us in the large room, the cold tile sending chills up my spine as my bare feet came in contact with it. I giggled as he grabbed me by my waist, pulling me against him again, our naked bodies touching.
