"Flow de niña buena, haciéndose la mala."
-Ozuna.
Listen to You're Such A by Hailee Steinfeld for this chapter.
3rd person.
Her eyes wandered through Dorian and Chandler, looking at them as if they were someone unrecognizable. Different.
"W-What?" Chandler stuttered, carefully taking one step.
Y/N looked to the ground, frowning. "You are not the father, Chandler."
"How do you know that?"
"Because..." she looked upwards, and Dorian was close to her, waiting for an answer. "Because, I know."
Chandler laughed, mockingly. Both, Dorian and Y/N, unclenched and clenched their fist, serious of times.
"It's nothing to be laughing at, Chandler!" Y/N said through gritted teeth. Chandler stopped, but giggled, passing a finger through his waterline.
Dorian couldn't believe it. He was mad at Y/N because she cheated, but he also didn't know if she really did cheat.
"All right," Dorian began, "if Chandler isn't the father, who is it?"
Chandler huffed. "It isn't you."
Y/N looked at him, squinting, hate dripping from her.
"Dorian and you never had sex." Chandler clarified, folding his arms on his chest.
"How do know?"
"I know things."
"Idiot." Y/N mumbled, looking anywhere but them.
"Your son's idiot." Chandler winked at her.
"Get out." Y/N said, straightening her back, stronger than ever.
"No."
"Get. Out. I'm not going to say it again nicely."
Chandler snapped a few times back, but Y/N kept saying the same thing, 'get out.', so Chandler did. After Chandler had left, Dorian asked for answers.
They both argued, and cried, and yelled at each other. But Dorian did the right thing, he left her. Dorian walked out of the door as if something was slowing him down, a weigh that was being carried by his back.
Y/N sighed, stumbled down, and hid her face in both of her hands.
The sun was as bright as expected. It was July, and to her surprise, the giggles of the kids that were playing on the street, couldn't be heard. Dims of light lighted her. The door wasn't closed, and she didn't bother to close it.
Bet some neighbors heard and watched the scene she armed.
"I want to talk to you."
The sun that was lighting her, was covered by a shape's shadow. She looked up, squinting because of the bright sun, and because, whoever it was, she didn't want anyone to see her like that.
"What do you want?"
Chandler took a seat next to her, this time, closing the door after him. Y/N opened her mouth to say a thanks, but mentally slapped her face for thinking such a thing.
They both stood in silence, looking everywhere but them.
"Dorian isn't here." Y/N whispered.
Chandler nodded. "I know."
She looked at him, squinting again. He shrugged. "I was waiting."
Y/N turned back to whatever she was doing and so did Chandler.
"I want to take care of the baby."
She shook her head. "I..."
"It is mine, Y/N." Chandler cut her off. "We both know that. You know that. Why you don't want me to be the father? Why didn't you tell me this earlier?"
She just shrugged. So much to say. So many words.
"I don't know, Chandler." she began. "I guess I was scared that you wouldn't like me anymore or you would dump us. Besides, a baby would be a distraction and so many troubles. I didn't want to end your career.
"I found out a month ago, when it didn't come." Chandler laughed at how shy Y/N was when it came to menstruation. "And, I don't know. Maybe I said it at the wrong moment."
"You did."
"I did." Y/N confirmed.
"But I want to take care of it, anyway. I don't care about the fame, forget about the career. This baby," he pointed at Y/N's belly, "is in it's way. And I don't want you to abort it. It's mine. And I will take care of it. No matter what."
"What about the headline '17-year-old-celebrity knocks his girlfriend?'" Y/N said.
His eyes opened wide, and the tips of his mouth curled up into a smile. "Am I your boyfriend?"
"No, you're not."
"I'm not giving up." Chandler said.
After minutes, Chandler intertwined their fingers and looked at them. How he missed to have Y/N's fingers between his. How he missed to Y/N's body to hug him as it did. How he missed to articulate the words 'I love you.'
Y/N posed her head on his shoulder and squeezed his hand three times. I love you.
Chandler understood and smiled wildly. Though, he squeezed back. This time, I missed you.
"I love you so much."Chandler whispered.
