" What the fuck is this?" Beth skrieked, voicing what all of us were thinking.
My jaw was practically on the floor as I looked at the floor of our cabin- or rather, what was on the floor of our cabin.
Neatly arranged and stacked in perfect rows were plastic cups filled with water.
"How much time do you think this took?" Kiera asked, and we all gave her weird looks.
"As if that matters! How do we get back in the room?" Liza asked.
"We just have to throw each one out one by one, I guess," Lilly suggested.
" But I don't wanna waste all this water!" Beth said.
I smirked. "Girls, I have an idea."
<---«»--->
After painstakingly dispensing all of the water into seven large buckets, we were able to re-enter our room.
Even though we had already done the bucket prank, I couldn't see why we shouldn't do it again. Plus, these were much larger buckets, and they deserved it more this time.
"Hey guys, what'd you think of Thomas?" Lilly asked as we were changing out of our swimsuits.
"Why?" I asked.
"No reason," she shrugged. "Just curious."
I grinned as Beth grabbed Lilly and squealed. "Yes!" she said. "I am the best matchmaker! I literally set my aunt up with the love of her life and like, countless other people back at home!"
"Woah, no!" Lilly said.
"Dude, oh my God, this is so great," Tori said. "One of us finally has a crush!"
"It's literally been six and a half days," Kiera reminded us.
"I don't have a crush," Lilly protested.
"Honey, yeah you do," Grace told her.
" Yeah. But you guys would be so cute together!" I joined in, squealing with everyone.
"I swear to God, if any of you tell him, I will karate chop you!" Lilly warned us, but we were already exchanging mischievous smiles.
We finished getting ready, all the while embarrassing Lilly about her crush, and walked down, an hour late because of the prank, to the arts and crafts cabin, where we would be having our challenge that day.
When we got there, we immediately pointed out Thomas and started laughing. Of course he noticed this and gave us a weird look. He whispered something to Theo who laughed and waved at us.
I grinned and waved back as we got in the seats at our table.
"Okay! So I would like to say something! While we do not explicitly say that pranks are against the rules, they are highly discouraged. Especially if the prank results in a delay of our schedule. Obviously this isn't going to stop you guys, but next time a prank like that is performed, we're going to take the victim's word and deduct points from whoever they blame for the prank. But, moving on, I'm gonna hand the mic over to Matty since she's the artsy one who knows what we're doing today."
He hands the mic to Matty, who beams at him, before taking it. "As I'm sure you all have noticed, there is a box in front of each of you. You have one hour. One box. A room full of supplies. Your cabinmates. There are only two rules here: no sabotage, and you can't ask a counselor for anything. And by anything, I mean anything. Also, you can't leave the room. So, by the end of it, the counselor's will take a vote on who's box was the best. Oh, and don't write your names on it because we are gonna judge without knowing which box belongs to each cabin. Which also means, first, second, and third place cabins will be picked from all the cabins. On your marks. Get set, and... GO!" Matty finished, and the counselors quickly exited the room as the noise level went up.
