I sat at my computer and typed away. What was I typing? Well, a diary entry of course! I don't know about you, but it feels nice to review your day and reminisce on the events.
While I was jamming out to Tove Lo and typing, I heard a knock on my door. I took my headphones off, and placed them down on my desk. I minimized my diary page and pulled up a random document I had typed like five months ago.
I walked over to my door and opened it.
"Hello, Gaara-nii!" I said cheerfully.
"I warmed up the leftovers," said Gaara as he leaned on the frame. "Also, did you take a shower already?"
"Thanks for warming up the food," I said. "And, yes, I took a shower already.
Gaara then nodded. "I took one too."
I nodded back. Then, a comfortable pause ensued.
"When are you going to eat?" asked Gaara as he looked at my computer.
"In a minute," I said as I smiled. This is why I had to minimize the other document. Gaara had really good eyes, you see.
"Are you editing that?" asked Gaara. "I thought you already turned it in."
My eyes widened. He remembered the document! "I... I just felt like pulling up old stuff you know! Nostalgic, right!"
Gaara rose an invisible eyebrow at me. "Whatever, weirdo."
He then pat me on my head and walked away. These kind of things always happened. The big brother being watchful over his little brother, by blood or not, still brothers. I strongly dislike myself for feeling such a dislike towards the topic. It's not his fault I harbor such feelings.
I closed my door and finished typing in my diary. The last sentence being, 'I love Onii-chan way too much.'
I walked down the stairs and smiled at the warmed up meal.
"After you get your plate, come to the living room," said Gaara as he walked over to me. "We're watching a movie. I was thinking Big Hero 6 or the Lion King."
"Lion King!" I immediately exclaimed as I grinned.
"I know," said Gaara as he sighed. "But, I wish you would choose the marshmallow next time."
"Don't include the Lion King next time and I'll consider him," I said as I chuckled.
Gaara then nodded. "Okay."
Gaara then left to set up the VCR. Yes, we used the old thing, even though we also had the Lion King on DVD.
I felt happy as I got the plate of leftovers out of the microwave. I then walked over to the living room and set my plate on the coffee table. I then sat on the floor. I then felt Gaara sit on the floor next to me.
"You can sit on the couch," I told him as I gave him a small smile.
"I'm good," said Gaara as he set his right hand behind my back on the floor. He then pressed play on the remote and we watched the movie.
It was almost the part when Mufasa died and I began to clutch onto Gaara. I never could watch that part without crying, see. It was always so terrible, but I couldn't help but love the movie.
I felt Gaara pat me on my back as the part played in the background. I shook my head and snuggled into Gaara further as Simba called out for his father. I could only feel my feels meter going off the roof as I could feel the tears coming.
"It's okay, crybaby," said Gaara in a kind voice as he chuckled.
"I'm not a crybaby," I muttered. The scene soon finished and I looked to see Timon and Pumba. Thank Kamisama for those two. They always saved me from wailing.
