Chapter 13 (1/2)

About picture: I did do this one before, but it was a little different. It didn't have the words at the bottom. These guys helped me through too much that I can't thank them enough for. Anyway, back to the story.

I wake up, before my alarm goes off. I pick up my phone, turn off my alarm, early, and look through Twitter. A ton of my followers wish me a happy birthday, other than Ross, John, Michael, Tim, Ethan, and the rest of the office, excluding Alesa, Adam and Max. As soon as I feel awake, I get up, pick my outfit and go shower. 

-Time skip to after shower and get dressed/put on a little makeup-

I get out of the bathroom and sniff the air. What the heck is someone cookin'? It smells good! I grab my phone from the dresser in my room and head downstairs. "Hey, Alesa. What are you doing up, early?"

"Oh, morning. Maggie. I'm cooking breakfast."

"For?"

"You and Adam." She flips a pancake and walks over to me. "Happy birthday, Maggie."

"Oh, shit. I forgot." I say, kind of excited, but scared.

"What?" 

I sigh. "Adam has something planned, and I'm terrified." 

"You wont be, I promise." Adam says from behind me, as Alesa turns around to cook. I jump.

"Adam, you know I don't like your surprises. What is it, this year?"

"Well," He holds out his hands, with a box in them. "Other than this, you'll love the other one."

"Oh, great..."

"Just open it. Alesa helped me pick it out." I took it out of his hands and look at Alesa, who was still cooking. I open it, scared, looking at Adam.

"Guys, no. This was probably six hundred dollars!"

"I hope you like it." Alesa says.

"I don't...." Adam gives me a concerned look. "I love it!" I hug Adam tightly, then Alesa. "Thank you guys so much."

(I Googled "Best vlogging cameras" and this came up as top recommendation. Then looked at prices. Average price was about $600. I just wanted to put this out there for you guys.)

"You're welcome." They say at the same time. Alesa finishes cooking and I turn on my camera, which already had a memory card in it.

"Hey guys! GamerGirl here, aka Maggie, and today is my birthday, for those who don't follow me on my social media, which will be in the description."

"And mine!" Adam yells.

"Fine, and my annoying brother's."

"Hey! I'm giving you the best gift ever!"

"Whatever. Anyway, Alesa made breakfast for us!" I point the camera at her, "Which she didn't have to. I would've been fine with cereal." She laugh a little and sets plates in front of Adam and I, sitting at the table.

"I would be thankful of Maggie, if I were you, Adam." I give her a confused look. "I never cook for Adam."

"Oh." I laugh. I turn the camera back on me and take a bite. "This is amazing, Alesa. You should cook more often."

"I do, for myself." We both laugh as Adam grunts. I turn the camera at Adam right before he takes a bite.

"What do you think?" 

"Gif me a chaf to chu!"

"What?" 

Adam finishes his bite and says, "I said, 'Give me a chance to chew!'"

"Oh, okay." I giggle.

"I give it a nine out of ten."

"Whatever." Alesa says, in a jokingly way. I turn off the camera and finish.
