A half an hour had gone by. We were only twenty miles out of town but it was late and I was tired. I decided to keep going because you never know how long it would take the killer to figure out that we had blown town. Since he had figured out that nick had came to my house so fast. This guy was good. Who knows what else he was capable of. I found myself checking in my mirror about every thirty seconds. Even though even god couldn't have caught up to us. I was still on the top of my nerves. I do admit I was scared out of my mind. I had second thoughts about calling are friends but that could put me and nick in grave danger. I was not sure of what to do I would have to wait until nick woke up and see what he thought we should do. As we pass thought the first town to the south. I decide that I should stop and rest for a little bit. On the other hand I couldn't so I just stopped at the seven eleven for a couple of minutes I got two six packs of beer. For I thought that me and nick would need them to even get thought the night. I also got four twenty four packs of mountain dew and a couple bags of pork rine's and a couple pounds of jerky. As I got back in the car I say that nick was still asleep so I tried not to wake him. I took out six cans of mountain dew and put everything else in the trunk of the car. I still didn't know where I was going. I didn't want to put anyone else's lives in danger. As I keep on driving my nerves finally settle down. After about an hour or so nick wakes up. He asked were we were. I tell him about eighty miles out of town we were about four hours from new York city. I ask him what he wanted me to do. He didn't know but nether did I. he finally says that we should go to the cabin on the lake. The cabin had been nick's dads getaway as the tunnel had been to me and nick. The cabin was about two hours away the perfect place to get away from it all. It was also the perfect hideout for it was about forty miles to the nearest town. It was also in the middle of no where. So I turn and head north west on a straight stretch to the cabin. We should arrive there by midnight. Then we can finally get so much needed sleep and feel safe once again.
