When I wake I open my eyes I guess just hoping that I would be able to see but I could not, it was just dark. I called to Joe but he was still asleep but Yankee came padding over to my side. I petted him as I lay awake no way to tell what time it was I did not know if I should be asleep or rather I should be up and awake. I couldn't sleep anyway I needed to remember what had happened that night. It had been a blessing that I could not rem-ember but now it was a nascence. I had to remember something for both mine and Joes fait. The more I thought the more my mind hurt but that was all I got was a headache I couldn't remember prier to being in the tunnel. I know something Is there stored in my mind but I just cant bring my self to recall it. It had to be there somewhere for it couldn't have just vanished. What the hell had I gotten me and Joe into. What in the hell had went down that night. Why was I passed out in that water drainage tunnel. I was dyeing to know the answers to these questions for if I did not I was afraid that I would die. With all these questions and emotions building up so much I might just explode. Who in the hell were these people and why in the hell did they want me dead so bad I was not a danger to them. It was not like they were protecting themselves. It was more like they were protecting something that I may have stumbled on. Maybe they were trying to cover some kind of secret. Or maybe they we protecting there boss. Was there a mastermind in all this. This makes me think maybe there was something important about that water drainage tunnel. Maybe there was something in it but what the hell would it be. I know that it is best for me and Joe to run but what if there was something important in that old water tunnel. What if me and Joe could bring these thugs into justice. Yes it would be dangerous but it might be right. We might be able to save someone else's live or maybe many people lives. There could be more to this than we think it must be damn important to them. If we take these guys down. It could lead to uncovering something big. I couldn't have stumbled across there whole scheme but maybe only a little part and if this is how they reacted to just a little piece leaking out how would they react if we went sear- ching for there secrets. What would they do if e went to the authorities. What were they capable of they had found us once and it was very likely that they would find us again and again. At least until we were dead. There was no sign of them giving up anytime soon.. For know I just lay on my bed until Joe wakes up.
