"So wait , explain it to me again?" I said on the phone to Calum, I still was a bit irritated at Luke but I'm still coming to this rehearsal thing.
" It's like the jingle ball, but in the summer. All these artists are going to be performing there, including us. " He explained to me. " So you have rehearsal for it today ?" I asked.
" Yup," He said popping the 'p'," We're on our way to get you right now, so be ready"
We said our goodbyes and I quickly got changed into my other pair of black jeans, black converse and a red Rolling Stones t-shirt.
I ran downstairs and grabbed my phone and a water and waited outside. I didn't wait long until a black jeep pulled up ," Get in loser we're going to rehearsal!" Ashton laughed.
" Idiot," I said to myself. I got in the car and sat next to Calum , with Ashton driving and Luke in the passenger. " Where's Michael ?" I asked.
" He got held up with his mom , sorry you haven't met him yet , Maze." Calum said. " It's okay," I smiled .
We pulled up to this huge venue, " Damn son" I said , making the boys laugh. We pulled into a garage that said " performers"
We got out and a security guard said " 5 seconds of summer ?" We nodded, " Right this way. He lead us through a hallway that opened up to behind the stage. " You have two more bands , then it's your turn to practice"
They all said their thank you's and they walked to the stage, " Oh hey it's All Time Low!!" I said, letting my inner fangirl show. " Maze, chill" Ashton said, laughing.
They walked off the stage and I screamed " I love you !" Making Alex laugh. " Maisy cut it out , you gotta keep your cool" Calum said , hitting my arm
" Sorry , sorry" I said . " So we have one more band until we go on?" Luke walked over to a sounds guy and asked . The man nodded " That's homie " He said to him. I laughed at his childishness.
" Hey sorry I'm late ! " A red headed boy said ." It's okay, Maisy this is Michael , Michael, Maisy"
" Hi nice to meet you " He said " You too" He almost had the same vibrant hair color as the stranger ( hahaah bet you thought the stranger was Mikey)
" We have one more band before us then we'll rehearse" Luke explained to his late red headed friend. " Okay sounds good"
" Feels good" Calum snorted, " Cal that album was four years ago get over it " Ashton laughed. " Cmon man it was one of our best" He put is hands up like he was surrendering.
" Oh that's the band in front of us " Mikey said gesturing to the stage. It was two men, both in red suits and black ski masks.
They started to play a song and I instantly recognized the tune. " Hey I know this !" I yelled over the music .
" So I'm taking my time on my riiiiiiiiidddddeeeeeee" I sang along . " This is twenty one pilots !" I said to Luke.
" I know " He laughed. I never actually knew what they looked like, but I did know their names. Tyler Joseph and Josh dun.
After a they went through a few of their songs they walked off the stage. One of them saw me and just looked at me. Trying not to be awkward, I waved . They waved back. I smiled slightly and looked at the band in front of me.
" I think it's your turn to go on now" I laughed. " Oh shit duh!" They said and ran to the stage. I laughed and pulled out my phone.
Someone abruptly pushed their hands on the back of my shoulders. Terrified , I stayed still. " Hey stranger" He said. I recognized the voice instantly. I turned around greeted the handsome stranger.
" Hey! " I said and hugged him. " Okay it's been bothering me , what is your name! " I said laughing. He smiled, " Josh " I smiled back.
" What're you doing here? " I asked. " Oh c'mon I saw you singing the lyrics to our songs" He said smirking. My eyes went wide.
" Wait .... your songs ?" I almost screamed in his face. " You're in twenty one pilots ?!!" I smiled wide. He nodded.
" Josh Dun?!" I said happily. " Yes, Ms believer, I'm Josh Dun" I looked at him. Wowza was he attractive. " I'm sorry for freaking out, I just love your band, and I didn't know it was you"
He smiled and readjusted his SnapBack, " Its okay it was cute" I looked down hiding my blush.
" Well you were really good, you're like a god drums" I smiled . He smiled at me , real wide. " Thank you Maisy"
" You can call me maze haha, every one does" I told him. " Noted. " I saw , who I assumed to be Tyler and he yelled " Josh we gotta go ! "
The beautiful, once stranger , sighed. " Gotta go maze." He looked down. " Okay , don't be a stranger" He smiled and walked away.
I turned back over and looked at the band, smiling to myself. I heard loud foot steps coming towards me . " Wait Maze?" I looked at Josh , confused. " Yeah ?"
" Can I have your number ?"
