Beau's POV

I sigh happily as I ride back home from the store. I had found my mate!! She was beautiful and perfect in every way to me. My wolf started howling in pain and I felt a pull in my heart. Then my face turned worried. Fuck! She's running away! Speeding up to the house I made it there in three minuets. I jumped out the car and smelled her. Rushing to the house her scent wasn't as strong. Cussing to myself I hopped in my truck to go searching for her. I frantically looked even tried to smell her but I couldn't identify it. My wolf was fuming at her disrespect and so was I!! Once we found her she wouldn't escape again. EVER!

Violets POV

I jolted awake from my dream. Fuck!! I hadn't realized that man was my mate! I had always shut down the werewolf part of me and now I remembered about the whole mate thing. I was in some deep shit right now. Sighing I looked out the window wishing this never happened and I could just be happy! Of course life just hates me. My stomach started growling so I pulled out some chips, a sandwich, poptarts, and my favorite carbonated water. Enjoying the meal silently I wonder how much longer we had. I thought back to my dream. It was just us in the darkness. All he kept saying was I will find you mate. That one word was now making my life even more hell. My wolf was finally talking to me again; or should I say begging. She wanted our mate, but I didn't. They were all possessive bastards just like my dad. I just started crying for so many reasons. The bus jerked to a stop and I saw people start getting off. Shaking off my sadness for now I walked down the aisle with my things. I thanked the old man then stopped asking for directions to the nearest hotel. Once that was done I thanked him and headed off. Making sure to keep my hair tucked in the hat and use different body language when I walked. Seeing the nice hotel I jumped for joy. It was at least five stories and looked very nice. Giving the desk fake information I got my room key and headed off to the third floor where my room is. It was now around five in the afternoon and I was exhausted. Dropping my bag on the bed I fell into it's comfiness. Sighing happily I got up ready for a nice hot shower. Afterwards I pulled on my favorite jammies and ordered room service. Finishing my meal I thought through my plan of where to settle down. Looking at tons of maps and apartment websites I finally decided I would settle down in none other than Sacramento, California. Looking into renting cars I found one suitable online calling to pick it up tomorrow. After I settled that I called the apartment owner in Sacramento and put down a payment for one of the apartments. Smiling at my victory I cooled my headache with some aspirin. Turning the lights off after checking all locks and preparing my things already packed for tomorrow morning I snuggled into the warm blankets sighing happily.

I awoke to birds chirping and the light blocked by the curtains smiling to myself. I felt very well rested and ready to get this show on the road. Taking my time I took a nice long hot shower. After changing into some black jeggings and a green ruffled tank top I put on a nice leather jacket as well. Grabbing all my things and putting them neatly in my bag I ate a muffin with eggs and toast. Soon I was on my way taking a taxi to the car rental. Once again giving fake information I set off for Sacramento! I was excited while my wolf just wheeped. I just blocked her out and continued the LONG drive feeling a loosen on my heart the further I drove away.

Soon I had reached my new apartment after meeting the owner. I couldn't help, but squeal at how happy I was!! The owner was a tall tan man with nice brown hair and striking blue eyes. He was so hot!! My wolf was finally realizing I wasn't going back and purred at the thought of having him hug us. Yes it's weird that I just met him, but still I couldn't help how hot he was. I invited him to come over for tea anytime he would like as a thank you. He nodded smiling brightly at me. I had made it to my new place I would call home. I unpacked all the things I had and knew I would make the place more homier over time. It was around three in the morning and I had drived for a good day and a half before making it here. My stomach was growling so I ordered some Chinese off an old magnet I found on the fridge. After waiting twenty minutes I pulled out my keys and made my way out the door then locking it. Picking up my Chinese food I grabbed a fortune cookie and headed out. Walking up the stairs to my apartment then unlocking the door I smiled. This was my new home! I set my keys on the counter with the food and deadbolted the door. Going to the couch I switched on the TV to MTV watching akward. I laughed at the funny show and ate happily. Tomorrow I would get to work on some necessities and all that crap. Deciding to take a shower I stripped and jumped in the steaming water. Feeling my muscles relax I smiled. After jumping out I pulled on a oversized shirt and underwear. Shutting off the lights and checking the locks I made my way over to the bed. It was queen sized and would soon have silky black sheets on it once I got some. For now these would do. Sliding into bed I let my eyes close and was out like a light.

Derek's POV (The Apartment Owner)

Violet was so beautiful. That's the first thing that popped into my head when I saw her. She invited me for tea anytime and I planned on accepting it. She was very polite and seemed so happy but tired. I wondered about where she came from but knew not to be nosy. It felt nice to have her in the building close to me. As i lay in bed that night I whispered one last thing before I fell asleep. "Goodnight violet."
