Couple Months Later....

Violet's POV


Well life has been pretty good for me now. My mate and dex still haunt my dreams, but Derek makes me feel safe. He takes it all away. I know he won't let anything happen to me. Online schooling is a bit more challenging than regular school, but Derek helps me. He's actually really smart and I can't wait to join him in college. Most days he goes to work in the morning after we have breakfast or sometimes he leaves before I even wake up. It's weird, now that I think about it I forgot where he works. Anyways then I do online school until he comes home. He helps me with my homework. Next we cook dinner together and usually chill. Maybe play a board game or watch a movie.

Usually until one of us falls asleep. Like one time I fell asleep when he went to use the bathroom ad we were playing monopoly so I had a giant game peace imprinted in my face for a good three days. I swear I didn't hear the end of it! We joke around a lot, but I try not to flirt. It was in these few months that I found out something dreadful................
I like Derek.

I woke up to something wet touching my ear. I scrunched up my nose and my eyes flew open. There sat a smirking Derek and I swung at him connecting with his cheek. His face flew to the side. I took my chance and ran out the bedroom door slamming it shut to slow him down. I could hear that amazing laugh as I ran around the apartment looking for a hiding spot. Running into the kitchen I looked around quickly. His footsteps got louder and I quickly opened the cabinets under the sink. I scrunched up in there and steadied my breathing while listening closely. His footsteps were purposely intimidating as if he knew exactly where I was. I stifled a giggle as I remembered punching him.

Yes I know that is weird of me but that's just how we are. I heard footsteps right outside of the cabinet and I held my breath. The footsteps grew quieter and quieter until I was sure he was in a different room. Before I could open the cabinet door it was ripped open and I saw a smiling Derek. I screamed and leaped out of the cabinet. I ran and only made it to the kitchen doorway before he picked me up pulling me over his shoulder. Oh no. I screamed again as he started spinning and spinning. He threw me onto the couch and stood over me smirking. I smiled back as my head spinned.
"Now say you are sorry or we will go for round two." He said. I couldn't deny only nod from the dizziness.
"Sorry," I laughed out as I stood up and tried to take a step. I started falling but Derek caught me. His face was centimeters from mine. I looked into his eyes and saw him already looking at me. He took my breath away and I couldn't hold his eyes for long. I looked down and then stood up. Looking ip again I swear I saw disappointment and hurt pass through his face before he noticed I was looking. He smiled and I smiled back. It's Saturday so we got the day to ourselves.

I went to my room and started blasting Ophidian from my speakers. I drew Derek with my charcoal pastels and giant sketch pad Derek had got me. Around an hour later I turned off the music and went in search of Derek to show him the picture. He was on his bed sleeping. I smiled and went over to him. Payback is a bitch. I lathered up my finger with my spit and stuck it into his ear. He jumped up and his head snapped to me. His face was so funny I had to drop to the ground and roll around laughing. Derek just rolled his eyes and I smiled standing up.

I showed him the sketch I made. His face brightened and made my heart soar.
"It's for you." I said smiling looking into his eyes. I can't look into his eyes all the time but right now I had to see his reaction. He looked at it in awe which made me blush a little.
" Violet... I-I-I love it!" He said smiling at me. He opened his arms and grinned evilly. I backed up and then ran diving into his arms. He groaned and I sat on his stomach and hopped up and down. He groaned more and I laughed leaving the room.

I had been reading a book, but now I wanted to listen to music. I blasted disturbed turning up the bass. Walking through the hallways I rocked out swishing my hair everywhere. I couldn't help but laugh. Dancing my way through the hallways made my adrenaline rise. This music always gave me an amazing rush. Then I bumped into a damn wall. Then I looked up and saw it was only Derek. He had this really sexy serious look on his face. Then I wondered why his face was so serious.

At the moment though I wasn't worrying about that. I was getting high from my music. He looked amazing in this dark light and I couldn't help looking at him with hungry eyes. The music became louder because of the song making my adrenaline pump faster. I wanted to devour this fine piece of ass. I didn't care if he would reject me as long as I got to kiss those damn lips. I looked up at him again and saw the raw hunger which had me turned on. He pushed me up against the wall pressing his body against mine. My heart surged pumping my blood faster. He smashed his lips onto mine and kiss me with a hidden hunger. It only served to turn me on even more.

His tongue slid against my bottom lip wanted permission I denied. He got frustrated and slid his hand up my stomach squeezing my boob. I gasped from the pain and pleasure letting him slip his tongue into my mouth. I had no chance at dominance. No way. He grabbed my hips pushing me harder against him. I pulled away so I could breathe and he ravished my neck. I snaked my hands up his abs and chest going around his neck to his hair. I moaned as he nipped and sucked on the skin. I pulled at his hair making him growl and nip my skin harder.

"Oh god Derek..." I moaned only making him growl louder.
He kissed his way to my ear.
"Jump babe.." He whispered biting my ear. I jumped wrapping my legs around his waist. He slammed my back into the wall hard trying to get closer. His hands cupped my ass as he pressed into me kissing down my chest. I massaged my hands in his hair. My breathing was heavy as he ripped my shirt off one of my shoulders kissing it roughly. Damn, I should've kissed him sooner. The music made the wall thump with the bass increasing my adrenaline levels. I could feel his little friend down there now and I grinded on him. He groaned and dropped me. He turned me around pressing my chest to the wall trapping me there with his body. He held my hands behind my back as he kissed my neck grinding against my back side.

This felt amazing. I really couldn't believe this was happening. His hand traveled from my neck down my shoulder along the curve of my body. He breathed heavily against my neck," Mmm damn you feel good V. Don't tempt me though princess."
I was on cloud fucking nine. That was amazing......

Well it's Monday and official. Derek and I are now together. I realized he's had feelings for me for a while too. Made me feel stupid, but as long as I'm with him I'm happy.

This freaking online schooling was frustrating me today. My temper was very high at the moment. I heard Derek open the door.
"DEREK!" I shouted.
"What!" He shouted back.
I laughed," Come help me with this damn homework before I throw your fucking lap top!" I said. He came into the room sighing and shaking his head. I laughed again getting up and jumping into his arms. He twirled me a few times and then helped me with my homework. Afterwards we made dinner together. It was spaghetti night. I had gotten tomato sauce all over his shirt!! Haha! Then we started to eat dinner.
" So violet I wanted to talk to you." He said and I stopped eating because he sounded really serious which he usually isn't. I looked up at him to continue.
" Well I feel like not only you but we both aren't as in touch with our wolves as we should be...So I've decided we are going to be moving." He said.
" Umm okay but why do we have to move?" I asked.
" We can't be rogues violet. I never told you this, but I have a brother. We don't talk very much. I saw him the other day and he invited us to come live with his pack. I'm gonna say this honestly. I don't want to be a rogue you know. I love my wolf and I feel they deserve a pack. Right now we are basically out cast and looked upon badly. Now we have a chance to change that though Violet." He said looking up into my eyes.
I sighed but nodded," Alright I mean as long as you are there then I am." He beamed at me and I smiled back. I hadn't been in touch with my wolf for a reason. I trust Derek though. My past experience in a pack may have been beyond bad but I'm willing to try for him.

Though I should've thought of the people that were after me before going to live there......
