Chapter 4: Escaping... or so I thought...

"So, roll call. Eden?"

"Here!"

"The twins?"

"Present!"

"Josh?"

"Hi!"

"Krysten?"

"Present!"

"Levi?"

"Right here!"

"Peter...s here... Sam, Seth, Simon, Sofia, Sydney?"

"Present! Sup? Here! Hi! Here!"

"And Zach?"

"Right here, Court!"

"So, these are the plans that I was thinking about. So first we'll try to transport to the camp with all of our transportation mutants. Then, we'll try to get all of the super strength mutants and try to bust our way out of here. Then, we'll take all of our weather mutants and try to make the biggest tornado to blow all of the rocks away. If that doesn't work, we'll take all of our animal controlling mutants and try to get the animals to help us out. Then, any of the ability to control anything mutants will try to move the rocks and cement out of the way. If that doesn't work all of the shape-shifting mutants will become the smallest creature they can think of and try to crawl through the rocks and physically move the rocks out of the way. "

They tried their best to do what they were asked. Some of them grew weak and tired very quickly. They pushed themselves so hard that day. They did all they could to get out of the collapsed meeting hall.

After everyone was done trying for the day, I sat down on the dusty, pebbled floor facing the rock wall and put my head in my hands. Peter came and sat down next to me.

"What do we do now, Peter? I don't know what to do, I don't know what to say. I guess we just give up now, huh? I'd say that we just give up," I said as I turned around and looked at the big room of mutants that risked their lives for trying to help other mutants be happy.

"I give up. I don't know what else to do without the chief."

"Wait, wait, wait! Hold on! You told me not to give up a little while ago. You shouldn't either cause this is a mutant land. We can do amazing things that can help strengthen the lives of other mutants."

"Speaking of which," I called out to Sofia, "Hey Sofi, can you heal anyone who needs healing?"

"Yeah, sure!"

Soon enough all of the mutants were replenished and strengthened.

"So, may I ask again, does anybody have any bright ideas that they want to share?"
