Marceline

I opened my eyes slowly, and heard someone calling my name.

I looked at where I was and saw that I was in the hotel room, on the bed. But I wasn't on the bed, I was on top of Liam, hugging his torso, my face on his chest.

I groaned in my head and went to get up. Liam's arms tightened around me, and pulled me back into his chest.

"Mar, Tony is here." Carter said from somewhere, I think, by the balcony door.

"Liam? Baby wake up." I said trying to get off him again.

He groaned and held me tighter.

"Liam, I have to go. Please let me go." I said kissing his chest quickly.

"Fine," he grumbled, moving his arms off me.

I smiled, and carefully got off the bed, and Liam. I stood up over him, and leaned down to leave a kiss on his lips.

He opened his eyes when I pulled away, and grabbed my hand before I turned away.

"I love you." He said smiling widely.

I smiled down at him, and pushed his hair out of his face, running my fingers through it. He loved it when I did that.

He closed his eyes and hummed in response. I leaned down again and connected our lips. He eagerly kissed me back, and when I pulled away, he sat up, trying to kiss me again.

I laughed, "I have to go Li. I love you too. I'll be back soon."

I grabbed a jacket from my suitcase as I passed it, and put it on. I turned to Liam and blew him a kiss as I walked out of the room.

After he said he loved me too, we kissed, and just laid there together. I know we still have to talk about what happened, but it can wait a little bit.

I got to the lobby in no time, and saw Tony standing by the doors. I walked up to him with a smile on my face, and he raised an eyebrow at me.

"You seem to be in a good mood. Everything okay?" He asked when I reached him.

"Everything's wonderful. Couldn't be better. Shall we go?" I took his arm in mine, and we started to walk towards the doors to leave.

"What happened in those five hours I was gone?" He chuckled looking down at me with an amused look plastering his face.

"Something amazing. Something really, really amazing." I smiled wider, if it was possible, and sighed in content.

"Okay then, something really good happened. Are you on drugs Mar?"

"If love is a drug, then yes."

"No way, my little sister's in love!? I have to meet Liam again, see if he's the same as he was years ago." He unlocked his car, and we both climbed in.

"We're here the rest of the week, then the rest of our lives, you have plenty of time." I said buckling in. I was in the driver's side, but I wasn't driving. It was weird, but he didn't seem to think it. This was probably normal to him, he has been here for twelve years.

"So what's Liam like now? How's he changed?"

I smiled as I stared out the window. "He's amazing. He and Niall, Carter's boyfriend, are about to be the owners of a music corporation. He's funny, smart, so nice to me. He has his moments, but he makes up for it right after it happens. He treats me way better than any one else ever has. My last boyfriend..." I took my left wrist in my right hand and held it close to my chest.

Tony glanced over any me when I stopped talking, and noticed I was holding my arm. His eyebrows knitted together, and he looked back forward, onto the road.

"Did... Did he do that to you?"

I closed my eyes and sighed. I nodded, "Yeah. I found out he cheated on me... With two girls. One who was his fiancee. It's no big deal though. Liam was there, after it happened, with Carter."

I totally forgot about my wrist for a while. I just got used to having it, I didn't think about it anymore. I get the cast off when we get back to the states though.

"I'm sorry Mar. You've been though so much, and you haven't had your family to help you. I'm so sorry." He reached over and took my hand in his..

"I had Carter, Niall, and Liam. At the time they were all I needed. Now, being here for two flipping days, I realize that I'm wrong. I do need family. I just needed to accept that people make mistakes, and that it wasn't any of your faults."

"I'm glad you think that way, because I'm never leaving you again. I wish I could say the same for Grace. When I told her I was moving, she said some... vulgar things to me. I guess I see where she stands."

"Anywhere but with me. She'll stand in a snake pit if it was away from me." I looked back out the window, narrowing my eyes at the thought of my sister.

"I just don't understand her anymore. She used to be so different. People eventually show their true selves, I guess."

"Yeah... I don't know. I can usually read people really well, it's my job to, but when I saw Grace for the first time, I couldn't. I couldn't read her, and it confused me. Now I guess I understand. She had so many walls up, and she knocked them all down in that cafe."

"Again, I'm so sorry she said all those things. And I'm agreeing with Liam on this one, is a bitch." Tony seemed agitated as he walked about her.

"Wait, what do you mean 'agreeing with Liam on this one'?"

"Oh, when you left with Carter and Niall, he turned to her and defended you. Then he called Grace a bitch, and turned around."

He defended me. He called my sister a bitch, and a missed it! Damn! I wouldn't loved to see that.

"She was so pissed after that. She got all red in the face, and yelled at everyone in the cafe for no reason. Then she stormed out, swearing at me as she went. I'm still suprised she gave Carter my number, considering what happened." Tony pulled into the hospital parking lot and found a spot quickly.

"Oh yeah, thank you for not telling them last night where I was." I said giving him a smile.

"No problem Mar. You didn't want to be found, and I respected that. I'm glad that you told me though. A lot of good things came from that. Now you're stuck with me." He laughed and I hit his shoulder.

We both got out of the car, and I groaned. "It's so weird being on the drivers side, and not driving."

"Oh yeah, it's different back in America. I forgot that." He locked the car and laughed as I made a face at him.

"Come on, let's go butthead." I said bumping into him as we started to walk.

"Whatever-" his phone started to ring, interrupting what he was going to say.

He took it from his pocket, and his face grew confused as he looked at the screen. He accepted the call, and said hello.

In the span of five seconds, Tony's face paled, and his eyes widened. He ended the call and started to run, grabbing my hand.

I stumbled for a second, but got on my feet again and was pulled along into the hospital.

Something was really wrong.
